After nearly one year always interesting to come back to hotel. The Renaissance Hotel in Wuhan is still a first class Marriott hotel. Rooms perfect, Service great, always home feeling. My specials thanks to the Marriott Navigator Melody. She is the person which gives Marriott members the great service. One point, the club lounge still not open which is really a pitty. Other hotels in Wuhan already have!

All in all, always happy to come back.

Booked this hotel through Hotels.com and the description of the room is 47 square meter. However, upon check in a tiny room was given which I believe is about 20 plus square meter, the receptionist denied the room is small and claimed that it is a room located within the luxurious floor. Apparently with an arrogant attitude as mentioned by other reviews here. I managed to contact Hotels.com who’s very prompt to address the issue and agree for full refund of room charges. The best of all Hotels.com promise me to conduct an investigation on the falsely claim room sizes. I’m please with the action of Hotels.com but do believe Renaissance hotel Management should provide proper training on their china staff to avoid further tarnish of their reputation

The idea of elite recognition is to send this Titanium Elite to a corner room with a built-in sauna at 30C. After waiting for an hour expecting the AC to cool things down, it was only marginally better at 27.5C The corridor felt much cooler. Hotel sent a technician, who came with a heat gun and just shrugged, saying he can’t do anything as corner rooms are known to be hot because of the sun (what sun? I checked into my room at 9pm). Piecing things together, the staff knows about the hot corner rooms and yet they would still banish an elite to one such room and hoping he will just bear with it. This is when better alternatives are available (they finally switched me to a middle room but that comes with a lingering smoke smell). Internet connectivity is non-existent in both rooms. This is not how you treat any hotel guests, not to mention a loyal elite.

Steer clear of corner rooms ending with —18, esp 1918. Better still, steer clear of this Renaissance altogether.

This modern, beautifully appointed, and well laid out hotel is a traveler's delight. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is very large. Upper level rooms afford a nice view of the city. Comfortable bed and sitting area couch. Lots of amenities provided by professional, courteous comment and efficient staff.
