This restaurant is rated number 1 in Cartagena and is rated number 55 in Barranquilla.
I have eaten at both (My wife loves their tomato soup) and while they offer the same menus (emphasis on Arabic food) I can´t rate it as the best restaurant in Cartagena and I can rate it as about the 55th in Barranquilla. This large difference in ratings only confirms that one must take a grain of salt with the ratings of Trip Advisor and use other restaurant apps to get a more reliable sense of the quality of the eatery; or is it that Barranquilla has become a richer culinary mecca that that for which Cartagena is supposedly famous for???
The veggie choices and sandwiches are very good at Zaitun but for formal dining with Arabic food, Arabe Gourmet is better in Barranquilla and Az-zahr is better in Cartagena.
