Our last hotel stay of 2022 and our first time Medellin. As a diamond ambassador we received a corner suite upgrade with a decent view for 4 nights.
The room itself was spacious but a bit outdated and could use a facelift. There is a closet in the bedroom that only opens halfway because the bed and nightstand are a little too close. We noticed that the bathroom would sometimes have a sewer like smell so we kept the windows open to circulate air.
The lounge upgrade is worth it if you are planning to spend a little more time in the hotel as the afternoon and evening options were plentiful. The lounge staff was excellent and all provided great service. If you only want breakfast the complimentary breakfast for all guests has a great spread, so no need to add the lounge.
The biggest negative about this property is that its location doesn't have a lot of walkable things nearby. Ubers/taxis are very reasonable but in a new city you want to be able to walk and have things close. To get into fun parts of town (like El Poblado) you have to do about 15-20 minutes of walking (and a lot is uphill)
Overall, it felt more like a hotel targeted to business travellers.

Beautiful property with attention to details. High quality towels, amenities in the room, beautiful pool, tennis, the works. People at checkin are very friendly, and attentive. It has everything that you want in a hotel.
Not cheap but we’ll worth it.
I stayed with my mom for 5 days, including New Year’s Eve. Cleaning: the worst I have ever seen,I complained about it every single day and manager and reception desk didn’t do nothing. Hate the place!

I stayed for 4 nights on my first trip to Medellin in this hotel. As an ambassador member I was upgraded to a suite which was located on the corner. The room had gorgeous views towards the city. The breakfast was outstanding and is included as standard. I didn’t receive toiletries and the outstanding spa with the beautiful swimming pool are closing rather early (6:30). The rooms are a bit outdated and the hotel needs a bit of rejuvenation. However, I strongly recommend this hotel. Service was great, location excellent and amenities were outstanding.
friendly hotel, nice pool... good restaurant outside... very good staff, breakfast is soso, not able to make a decent cappuccino at breakfast on request... room service served a bad tasting and smelling Spaghetti Bolognese..... i got sick.... even when its an outdated hotel, the rooms need refurbishment but are clean.....its a pleasant place to stay..
