Try to cherish pictures from its past. To enjoy the thick granite front panelling and to envisage the passage of time and its displacement in the commercial and cultural goings. It retains all that but does not offer the commensurate value as an hotel. Worth visiting but not staying. What do you make of that as an analogy?

Stayed at this hotel for one night and it was not good. Well, location is perfect but you can hear everything from the outside motorcycles, busses. Breakfast was included and it was good. The hotel is located en El Centro and there countless homeless people around. As soon as you go outside the hotel you can smell the city (bad smell). My hotel room ead poorly designed the sink is right above a small counter which makes it difficult to brush your teeth. The shower has no soap and no place to put your soap I brought my own soap and had to put it on the floor. I don't know if the room smell bad or if I was just traumatized by how bad the area smell but all I can smell was the bad odor when I was in my room. Also I saw a roaches in the room. Wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Room tip: Avoid this area

Planned a 5-night stay thinking hotel was reasonable and centrally located to everything we wanted to see. Discover the room was infested with cockroaches and not what was expected at all. Had to move to a different hotel. This hotel is close to Plaza Botero but in the heat of prostitution, homeless people harassing you for money and not safe to walk around. A reputable hotel doesn’t allow walk-ins but was surprised as how easily people walked in to ask for a room.

Great location-just across street from Plaza Botero, 5 min walk to Parque Barrio Metro and La Candelaria Church.

Large rooms-clean, beds comfortable, a little noise leakage thru window and hallway door. Room includes stocked minifridge with small freezer.

Free breakfast- scrambled eggs, sausage, queso fresco, tasty arepas, pineapple, watermelon, lulo and tomato juice, cold or warm milk, cereal.

Staff went out of their to be helpful. Early morning check in went smoothe with Eduardo. Breakfast was serve by terrific staff, including Leonardo. Francisco was another staff member who was terrific.

Front door has 24 hour security. Don't be put off by negative reviews. Hotel Nutibara is the value location for you.

This is a good hotel . Its location in El Centro may not be for everyone . Reception is good . The rooms are a little old . The prices are as high as El Poblado . The free breakfast is good . This is a good chile for people who want to be in El Centro .

Room tip: Can be noisy and need caution at night
