was super excited to find a vegan friendly cafe in Asbury, especially because they still serve dairy and fish options for those who choose to eat animal products.. However the food was just mediocre. We ordered the pesto foccocia and sweet potato/quinoa wrap, both of which were very average. The "foccocia" was not the foccocia I know. Instead it was flaky-in-the-sawdust-kind of way, and quite tasteless. Dry too. Inside the two measly slices, was unmelted vegan cheese, literally squares which fell out of the sandwich immediately. There was also a pesto spread, which was actually pretty good, as well as roasted bell peppers, and olives, both of which I'm 95% sure were out of a can. The"sandwich," if one could call it that also cost 9 dollars and was very small. The sweet potato wrap was fine, but really something I could have made at home quite easily. It was a really bland, simple wrap which we felt was small and not worth the $10 price tag. The lemon tahini sauce, it came with however, was quite good. Overall, the food was ok, but based on the pictures of thick, crusty, bread and decent portions, our meal was a poor exception and I'm not sure I would return.
