This hotel is a great place to stay for a couple of nights.
It is clean with a great location on a quiet street.
The rooms are large, but sparse. The bathrooms are small and cramped, but clean.
The breakfast has eggs either fried or scrambled with fruit.

My family and i stayed here for a week. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good, served cheerfully and they remember how you like your eggs so after a couple of days it feels homey. My daughter has allergies and they were accommodating. Our room was thoroughly cleaned every day. We had comfortable beds. The hotel is on quiet street yet it's near every thing.
Management is very knowledgeable and helpful with trip planning, Make sure you ask for a hand written receipt so you can get the 12 PCT tax back at the airport.

Room tip: All rooms are good but if you prefer more quite upstairs is better.

The rooms are very basic but clean and includes a small refrigerator. The bathroom is very small but the shower had great water pressure! Breakfast was included every morning and was a great start to our day- it included scrambled eggs, basket of bread, fresh juice, and fresh fruit. The location and price of this hotel is what convinced me to book it. The hotel is not on the main road but is a 5 minute walk away. Sergio was extremely helpful prior to our arrival in helping us get tours booked. However, it appeared that Sergio was the only staff member that spoke English so when he was gone, we had trouble communicating with the staff. Lastly, the wifi was pretty spotty. We we're never able to get wifi in our hotel room but there was wifi available in the main courtyard of the hotel. Overall, I think this is a great option for a stay in Puerto Ayora and a great base to use for exploring the islands.

The Pelican Bay feels like a Greek hotel in the 1980s. Clean enough but basic and in need of a good lick of paint.
We were initially told that a room we had booked with a safety deposit box was not available but pushing harder suddenly found a room.
After that hiccup service was friendly and helpful.
Small pool with bar open some evenings and basic breakfast. Reception was good at sorting taxis. Good location for the small town centre.

This hotel has a wonderful location near the fishermen's wharf. The breakfast was made fresh, guests just went to the dining area and asked for it cooked the way they wanted it with fresh fruit and juices provided. The staff were always most helpful in giving advice and directions, fresh water always available and my room was large. The pool, although not large was always clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.
