The hotel is stunning, the reception and staff are lovely and efficient, and we were served with a welcome drink on check in. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean our man that cleaned the continuously checked with us it was up to standard and I can say it was perfect. The pool and beach area's are spacious with plenty of sunbeds and towels on offer. The service on the beach front from Mena Kamal was first rate, he's a credit to the hotel. The snorkelling isn't great here, but the hotel offers trips, we took advantage of the glass bottom boat it was a great way to spend the morning. The captain and guide were great hosts and kept us topped up with drinks throughout our time on board which were included in the price. The restaurants served a great selection of food which we could not fault in anyway. The only reason we can't give a 5 rating is because of the indoor bars are all smoking. There was a section which was designated non-smoking however it didn't really work due it not being a separated area. There was a lot of outside space which could have been used for smoking. Possibly not an issue in the height of the summer but as we were there in November the nights are cooler so we couldn't spend all evening outside. We would still highly recommend this hotel as the best hotel we've stayed in Egypt.

Room Tip: We had room 1331 which had fabulous views over the pool to the sea. So floors 3 to 5 are recommended for the views.

Regarding your comment to sorted out some non-smoking areas inside and around food I would like to highlight that all our restaurant are non – smoking areas. As well we dedicated a special area for our non-smokers inside the lobby likewise in outdoor areas. During your next visit we will be more than happy to assist you in locating those special places.

We would like to inform you, that Hurghada area indeed does not have a fringing reef. There are some smaller reef patches in the bay in front of the hotel, but due to the shallow water and sand bottom the visibility might not be so good. That’s why we encourage our guests, if they would like to see the real beauty of the Red Sea, that they should join one of the excursions by boat – like you did.

What can I say about this hotel? It is grand with marble everywhere and a neutral colour scheme with dark wood and with various pieces of art dotted around. 2 bars in the entrance 1 also serves as the afternoon tea destination daily. the whole place is spotlessly clean, the restaurants the toilets inside and out the corridors the gardens everywhere are so well kept and the gardens have beautiful flowers grasses and shrubs. The pools the beach the outside bars are spotless. The staff wherever you go are friendly polite very happy and helpful they love a chat even the gardeners. The gym is small a cardiovascular room and a weights room but I have never seen them full. Many people jog or walk in the morning in the ample grounds and round the golf course and there are bikes that you can just pick up to take for a ride. The beach is spotless and the beach and the pools have the comfiest sunbeds I have ever had the pleasure to use. This is the first holiday that my husband and I have had together now that the kids have grown up and it has been superb. The food is amazing falafel for breakfast is a must but the cart with flat bread and condiments is not near the falafel which lost me on day1 every meal there is a vast choice loads of salad all cleaned I sterilised water so iffy tummy is not on the menu as are the ice cubes. Today at lunch the pool bar had a lady making fresh flat breads chicken kebab which my husband said was lovely with salads and spicy fish and every night in the main restaurant is a different theme with a bbq outside as well. We have eaten at 1 of the outside chines restaurants and it was lovely we are trying the tepinyake bar tomorrow. We like hurghada more than Sharm you do not get as hassled when you are out. Spicey Nicky down the road will make you hibiscus tea and sell you wonderful spices and hibiscus and cleopatras bazaar over rhetoric road has beautiful glass blown perfume bottles at fixed prices. The only reason I have given 4 stars and I feel mean should be 4.5 is because although I like our room it is slightly tired it is still nice has a lovely view over the gardens and pool I think because the rest of the hotel is so wonderful it just seems a bit plain. and the lazy river is very nice for just bobbing along. It is a German hotel but there are people of all nationalities here and the food covers all bases.

It was a good vaction in nice hotel, restaurants were very good and food with high quality and the staff were very helpful specially magdy sabry in the reception the rooms are clean and very nice view i enjoyed my time there a lot

The summer wouldn't be a summer i didn't go there, the hotel is perfect and everything in it is just amazing: the staff, the food, the whole place. u have to go there and try it because it will not be ur last time and u will go there many times ;)
