Have stayed at the Hilton Dreams on many occassions for a short break in the sun. Hotel location is good and the rooms / grounds are kept clean. Have stayed both in the hotel and in the time share apartments - equally happy with both. Only ever go b & b as we enjoy a walk in the evening and the restaurants are good value for money. Looking forward to another visit.

The hotel it's self is excellent , they are very friendly , the beds are very comfy indeed. If your holiday consists of sunbathing its the place for you , otherwise not much else to do . Naama Bay should be visited but be prepared to be hassled an awful lot . We had a lovely stay here but the down side is the food. The food is very very bland indeed , if you can live on marmalade and toast you will be fine. The pyramids is well worth the money and the visit , it is an amazing day. The beach is at the sister hotel but if your all inclusive it does not apply when you visit the beach , you have to buy drinks and food.Oh and they like tips. The towel sculptures they leave in your bedroom are amazing and well worth tipping. Another tip is DONT EAT THE MUSHROOMS they are awful !!!!!. We are not fussy people we will eat most foods but if you stay here you will agree with us.

arrived here august 2011. we was in a family of 4 HOWEVER also traveling with another family of 3 who booked separately and had a separate booking number etc. when we arrived and attempted to book in, it was all a bit manic. when we approached the reception desk they saw paper work but also quickly identified that we was traveling with another family and Muhammed quickly tried to take advantage of this and throw us all into a 2 Bedroom Family apartment. AWAY from the hotel and across the road.

Not only was this unacceptable and a blatant dis regard for value but the family bedrooms had no dividing doors!?!? and the place had looked like it was rented out to teenagers on booze weekends. dirty appliances. broken fixings etc.

i immediately went back to reception and Demanded separate 'hotel' Rooms. i pointed out that the condition of the room was dreadful and not worthy of 3 Star let alone 5 Star and he pulled the smuggest look ever and looked at the paper work indicating the price we paid for the hotel and implied that because we got a good cheap rate, we really should not be complaining about anything. almost as if, your lucky to be here let alone have the right to complain!

he insisted we could not change rooms and i insisted we do change rooms and NOW. he said wait 2 days we have none available. as shocking as this sounds its true. after 45 mins contesting they found separate rooms. which is what was booked anyway.

so after the dreadful start we found the room clean and reasonably spacious. food was edible but ate out most nights.

once you have checked in, its pretty much game over as far as customer service goes.

PROBLEM NUMBER TWO - the kids pool area. it had cracked tiles around the pool area for 2 days until i complained and in all fairness it was repaired that night. BUT a 6 year old cut her foot in the mean time. im sure that if i had said nothing, the tiles would still be cracked now. the white plastic drain gratings that surround the pool was also missing in some parts. making it a fall hazard for small children. and ive heard some dreadful stories about accidents with these as they have steel rods inside.

All in all if i was going to sum this up. 1. They Give Hilton a Bad Name. 2. they dont give a poop about you or your safety. 3. they treat you like a number once you have paid. 4. its a 3 Star Hotel maximum.

Avoid like the plague Ive been Sharm 4 times, this Hotel is by far the worst ive ever stayed in. that includes 14 holidays all over europe and the world.

Ive heard great things about other Hilton Hotels in Sharm, so they probably keep the best staff at them ones and maintain those reputations first.

if any Hilton Manger is reading this. Change the hotel Name. sack most of the staff and start again. its a terrible disaster.

Spent 4 weeks at the Sharm Dreams Hilton 30th Jan 12 to 27th Feb 12 bed & breakfast a little unsure what to expect after mixed reviews Spent time in hotels all over the world so think I can give an experienced opinion
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed very courteously and for the next 4 weeks were made very welcome from Emmanuelle at the front desk very professional and helpful.
Ahmet our room attendant kept the room spotless and brightened the place with his very inventive daily petal / towel displays and always cheerful .Muhammed his supervisor constantly checking everything was ok Ahmed the pool attendant checking regularly that we were enjoying our stay. The breakfast was varied and good quality cant comment on rest of food as dined out . Can recommend restaurants on Pedestrian way cross the road through
other Hilton and it runs parrallel with the beach. Maharaja good for sizzling Tikka .Viva good all round
Aberdeen good fish and Steak Fillet Flambe at table try it
We stayed in block 12 in a superior room good size and comfortable
All things taken into account The Hilton was very good give yourselves a pat on the back

Room Tip: Blocks 10 11 12 have a small pool adjacent usually very quiet and peaceful . noise from entertainmen...

we stayed at the hilton sharms on the 20th feb 2102 for a weeks stay for our honeymoon, it started off fantastically nice room,food ok, then on the 3rd day into holiday it started to get dissapointing and at times scarey. we was woken in the middle of the night with two young men entering our room although the door was locked from the outside with only our key cards as keys to the door, or so we thought!!!!!! I had to tell these 2 strange men who had somehow used their key cards to open our door and pretending they was lost!!!! As well as my wife was very shaken by this we reported it to the reception staff and it turns out that our lock was not working properly!!! anyone could have entered our room at any time and taken our belongings or even worse could have happend, the problem was sorted out quickly but this should never happen at all!!!!!
The 4th day was a classic too!!! we went for lunch at 2pm and as we were finishing our meal we were presented with a questionaire/survey on various areas of the hotel and restuarant with 1 poor upto 10 exellent,we filled it in and mainly gave 7s and 8s which we thought was ok for the level of service we recieved and presentations of the tables and if we were offered drinks with our meal which most times we wasnt, just a warm bottle of water on the table, we were leaving the area,one of the food staff quickly ran upto us asking to put our room number and names on the survey,so we did not thinking any more of it, until our evening meal that is, as soon as we returned later for our evening meal we were greeted rudely and we sat down, the manager came up and spoke to us like little naughty school kids who had wrote something wrong, we were spoke to very rudely about why we gave 7s and 8s out of 10 instead of full marks which i replied that if we was offered drinks and cutlery missing from our table we would have gave higher marks, the manager would not leave us alone and being very very rude so i asked him to leave us alone 3 times before he did, what a shambles as who would have thought such a simple survey which should be anonymous was made into this, distcusting!!!!! After this, the level of service from all the staff was horrid as they must have team briefs on who rates what on the survey and all knew our room number, as an expensive all inclusive in a hilton hotel its distcracefull unless they recieve loads of tips each and 10 out of 10 reviews, pathetic.
we also walked down to the promanade and within 5min all the shop owners watch you walking down and completly pester you, unlike the witty banter you tend to get like spain, canaries and other countries this is just in a league of their own, shouting rude things and being nasty it scared my wife and we walked straight back to the hotel, i was quite amazed how rude and vile what they said and even tried to get me down an alley way on my own before we left, never again will i go back to this country and we spoke to loads of others who said the same, quite a shame because the hotel and grounds was gorgeous.
On our checking out at 12 noon as our flight was at 6pm we was given a lunch voucher but no drinks included, not even water and insisted our all inclusive ends at 12 even tho on our arrival we got to hotel late at night and had paid from noon that day, we will never return to this hotel or egypt ever again, horrid experience for our honeymoon and the money we paid for it.
Best tip for anyone who is going here is to tip like mad and dont fill in the questionaire they give you before you leave otherwise they hound you and are very rude. also beware if you walk on the beach promanade, they are nasty and rude so any groups of women or singles be very very wary of them!!!!!
