Why would you choose anywhere else?!

I have nothing but praise and compliments for Casa Praia, Hardip and Sofia the owners and the supporting staff. The Portugese house and apartments are beautifully and furnished, cleaned thoroughly daily. The grounds are amazingly pretty and the pool is crystal clear.
Breakfast is a delight. No cardboard bread and dried up eggs here! You can choose mouthwatering fresh fruit topped with yogurt and granola and honey, freshly squeezed orange juice, real freshly brewed coffee, eggs any which way you wish, aloo paratha (absolutely scrumptious) or a masala omelette.
Nothing is too much trouble and Hardip and Sofia go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Thank you - looking forward to next year already!

A calm oasis

An amazing place! Very close to the beach and the main shops and restaurants. Lovely ambiance with separate units surrounded by plants, trees and lots of pretty decorations and baubles.breakfast is amazing , plenty of fresh fruit followed by local bread with èggs or a special indián dish. Hardip , his wife Sofia are so helpful and informative and go out of their way to make sure your stay is special. The staff are wonderful, always ready to help. Our stay was so memorable we have booked two years in advance!!

The best place

Thank you for a wonderful visit at your Place. Hardip and Sohpia is the best hosts. They was very helpful and very nice people. The breakfast was fantastic. We have been i India 4 times and this was the best Place ever. We love it. The garden was boutiful and the pool was very Clean. We vill definitely come back to this Place.

Ideal Place For Us

In 5 trips to Goa, we have stayed in maybe 8 'towns' but keep returning to Candolim. This is the nicest place we have stayed in Candolim by far and we have already booked again for next year.
We like that it is off the road, on the beach side. You are in a little neighborhood, very close to the beach, though not right on it, and you do not hear the traffic of the Candolim main road, which can be quite noisy.
The family who runs Casa Praia are extremely helpful and communicative. The fresh squeezed orange juice is a great way to start the day at breakfast, and we found our room to be very nicely furnished, with a really comfortable bed and pillows, quiet air conditioning, everything really nice.
My wife tried out the pool and found it to be clean but small, not easy to swim laps in, but a pleasant place to cool off. There are little details that can be improved, like a screen door that drags a little and is a bit warped, and the need for a little bracket to keep the bathroom window propped open. But Hardip is a builder and the place is quite new. These minor details will get fixed, and didn't spoil our appreciation of Casa Praia in any way.
There's a small flat screen TV, which we never switched on in a week's stay. There's also very fast wireless (for India at least) at about 4 megabits/sec which we used lightly with no issues.

Blissful holiday!

We were a group of 5 including my 2.5 years old toddler and we stayed at Casa Praia for 4 nights. We were in the family room.
Hardip and Sophia are perfect hosts and are more than happy to assist you with anything- be it extra blankets or even swimming floats for my toddler. Staying with them is like visiting your relatives. They immediately strike a cord with you.
It is located in the heart of Candolim yet you are away from the blaring horns of the main street. It is 2 minutes away from the beach and the umpteen restaurants on the street.
Hardip is more than happy to recommend eatries and they are all gastronomic delights.
Their kids Maya and Hugo are delightful and Maya was more than happy to teach me a few tricks in the pool !
It was a beautiful visit and I would definitely be back.
