Being a mountain lover old manali is one of my favourite place & i have been visiting this place every year from quite a long time.
Being a solo traveller i am always on a budgeted trip so either i used to prefer hostels or dorms but then somebody recommended me this place.

✔️Currently this place is run by two brothers Dinu thakur & Prem thakur & is on the Manu temple road, Old manali.

✔️The connectivity to the hotel is good and is easily approachable. It's opposite to Govt. School on Manu temple road.
You have to hike a bit for the hotel, trust me the final stairs to the hotel will test your strength.

❌ They are always low on staff, there is guys named Hemant he looks after the restaurant and room service as well.
He is the only one you can contact n meet in the guest house.

✔️ Rooms are clean & okay, not too good not too bad with no view. But they have duplex rooms on the top floor which has a magical view. You can see waterfalls & moutains covered with snow with good & spacious rooms.

❌ Food @ the cafe is really bad, though i am a regular visitor but there restaurants sucks. The chef doesn't even know how ti make Maggi & English breakfast properly.

P.S - My review is based on my personal choice

One of the most popular guest houses in Old Manali. Very easy to find, since every auto driver knows where it is. The prices are reasonable. Free WiFi is available and the rooms are clean and well maintained. The entire surroundings of this guest house are pleasant and feel-good.
A great place to stay in Manali :)

the place is average not good not bad , but the location isn't good ,the good point is that he allowed me to cook in the restaurant kitchen for one time .. the bad things are ..a lot of stairs to go to the place .. ( really a lot ).. the person who own this place charge us for extra Mattress without giving it to us. you can find a lot of good places less than this price

friendly and helpful managers. They'll help you organise day trips and book buses. good value, clean rooms - we paid 400 rupee/night for a double room with ensuite. Quieter location as is just off the main drag. Wifi didn't work during our stay.

Manu's guesthouse is a clean and well kept place, good atmosphere and very friendly staff!!
Rooms are big enough and cheap!
ALSO, IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING A TOUR, ASK HIM (if he's available) to contact Harry- best jeep driver around!
He will take you to the best himachal pradesh Spiti kinnaur Lahoul tour, friendly and funny, a real local! You'll have the best experience!
Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Higher-best!
