On weekends, this place is swarming with people and there is at least an hour of waiting waiting time before landing a table. Considering the near authentic and lip-smacking food available here in both veg and non-veg options, the crowds are understandable. The place is full of young groups and families and is open till the wee hours of the morning. Serving liquor by the bottle, this place is also cheap on the pocket for ones wanting to have drinks with their food and so one can always find hordes of youngsters here.
Among the must try dishes are Hara Bhara Kabab, Masala Papad, Cheese Balls, Chilly Chicken, Daal Makhani and Kadhi Khichdi and Kulfi. Most items on their menu won't leave you disappointed.
The place is quite safe and is frequented by couples and groups of girls. If cleanliness is something you are very serious about then Rangla Punjab might leave you a little jittery. They are hygienic but not top notch. Washrooms are best avoided and waiters make you wait, thanks to the huge clientele they need to cater too. All said and done, if you are missing or wishing for spicy and rich punjabi grub then this is the place to go. The seating is outdoor so do remember to go adequately covered during winter months.
