What else one can ask for if you get excellent service exceptionally maintained rooms, polite and humble staff, delicious food with amazing view of Fatehsagar Lake! We were here with our family to celebrate our first anniversary! They provide really nice service and made our stay memorable! I would love to come back and stay in Udaipur... days are bit on warmer side and evenings are nice and cool.... Thank you Panna Vilas and staff for such a great time and hospitality!

We stayed in Hotel Panna Vilas from October 17 to 19 (3 nights). Owners have left no shortfalling in making this hotel. They have taken utmost care in all aspects from Rooms, View, Facilities,Food, and so on.
Management is to the mark. Mr.Hemant a very soft spoken person also believes in comforts of tourist. Not only he was co operative in hotel but was very guiding regarding places of interest to go, markets to visit, where to eat food other then hotel restaurant.
Housekeeping staff is too good and co-operative inspite of 2 of the persons are Hearing & Speaking Impaired. Thanks to Owners and Management in putting trust on them and giving them a job.
Regarding Restaurant, Breakfast is like a meal. No comprise on quality. Always smiling staff especially Sonu and a female who helps in serving. They have got all the varieties of food available and with proper preparations.
View from restaurant and roof top candle light dinner is fantastic as the hotel is situated right opposite lake.
All in all we had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Panna Vilas.
Will always suggest to stay there.

Our family along with our pet Labrador stayed at Panna Vilas Palace for 4 nights during Diwali holidays. First of all finding a pet friendly hotel is a Herculean task, and when it turns out to be such a lovely hotel it is a huge relief! The hotel building is a modern building with all modern amenities but it has been decorated imaginatively to give the feel of a heritage haveli The attention to detail in the ceiling work of the rooms and the lounge area should be given a special mention. The rooms are abundantly spacious and have lots of storage space (at least the ones we stayed in had). You would be among the lucky ones if you get the room which has the enormous lake facing balcony. In a nutshell, the rooms are comfortable and spacious and are bound to make you lazier.

Coming to the restaurant; the dimly lit rooftop setting provides a serene ambience which can get you brownie points if you have brought along a date. However, it does make reading the menu slightly challenging; but I insist all visitors to go for the rooftop seating as the cool breeze and the incredible view of the Fateh Sagar lake would definitely make your meal more enjoyable. Also, there is live instrumental music played by an elderly gentleman on a traditional instrument. It does take some time for the food to reach your table, so it would be wise to order in advance. A point of advice - the Indian food is much better than continental food (Chicken White Sauce pasta was absolutely yum though!). Don't know much about the alcoholic drinks available in their inventory but the room service can get you chilled beer in a minute's time.

Lastly, they allowed our dog in their premises and even cooked up some chicken stock for him! All in all, I would give this elegant hotel a 10 out of 10! I highly recommend it to everyone; it is undoubtedly the best place you can stay with your four legged companion.

Room Tip: Room 203; you should definitely go for the lake facing rooms

Today I am going back after a 2 night stay at hotel Pannal villas udaipur. I searched it online and going by reviews, selected it even though price was seemingly higher. I wanted a ethnic and quiet place. When we arrived, it was just that good. With lake side rooms, we were thrilled to be here. We travelled places during day and at night, got back to hotel for dinner. I ordered a sizzler to begin with and it was awesome. I further ordered meals and we're enjoying the same when another guest came up and informed that the non spicy panel that I ordered for kids is not worth eating. Reason - the waiter had dipped his fingers into it and had eaten a piece while serving us. We were all shocked. ALL the experience was ruined. It is not everyday that you travel to Udaipur with family and pay more than rs 21k for stay and what you get is half eaten meal.
The next day manager and owner apologised and all they could do is offer free dinner and waive off of earlier day''s meal charges.
Overall owner was very helpful & caring but our experience was totally ruined by this incident.
Also WiFi connectivity was poor, with rusted kettles at room and no lifts, please be cautious and aware of these facts before booking.

Room Tip: Nil...I won't have anything to say.

I stayed at this place for four days. I have very specific food choices and every single time they made my meals separately exactly the way I told them. Their behavior and hospitality is beyond comparison and I'm definitely going back to panna vilas!
