We've been traveling every two nights around nothern India for a week or so now and this is our 5th hotel. So we've seen a variety and this is actually a very nice hotel. It's all relative. We stayed 2 nights in a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool. We asked for a quiet room and we taken to the 2nd floor. before we could unpack, the phone rang and the front desk offered to move us to a quieter room because of a wedding party (outside our window) at the hotel that night. Turns out, there was ALSO a party at the other end of the pool, which was very loud. But earplugs made sleep possible. The noise was over by 12:00 midnight. NOTE: This is wedding season in India so there are weddings constantly, everywhere, even on a Monday night!
Both restaurants (by the pool and the indoors buffet) are pretty good. There is a decent gym. Room was a good size, clean and moderately comfortable. The hotel bills itself as a 5-star hotel but it is really a nice 4-star hotel. It is missing the extravagant extras of a true 5-star.More
