The hotel location too far from the beach... go to nearby nightlife location is far also....

We were recommended to this hotel by another friend who is a frequent visitor to Bali. The Harmony Legian is tucked right in the middle of Legian Street, one of the most happening areas in Bali with lots and lots of nightlife (we love the clubs!) and plenty of souvenir shops plus restaurants (all targetting tourists so prices are generally high). For souvenir shopping, it would be better to grab a taxi to Oleh-Oleh Krisna at Kuta.

Generally the hotel looks really new and clean, and tastefully decorated. Rooms are small but just nice and feels safe though not exactly sound-proof or high in privacy. Food is kinda boring and limited, but the kitchen supervisor is extremely amusing with his non-stop cleaning. Another plus factor is that the hotel provides free airport shuttle. Can save more money!! The downside though is that the reception counter is not open 24/7 and the guard who watches the counter at night speaks NO ENGLISH at all. Sigh! Lastly, remember to bring your own universal adaptor!

I stayed in 'Harmony' legian from 25 October tll 29 October. It was a wonderful and memorable stay. The rooms were simple and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel concept was modern with still the balinese touch in it.The pricing was great. The location of the hotel was good.It was walking distance to the beach and shopping area.Knowing the hustle and bustle of kuta it was quiet and tranquil in this hotel.I am a experience budget traveller and 'Harmony' legian is one of the best. Will definately stay here again. They have provided what they have advertised.

We just came back from 6D5N fantastic holiday in Bali. Stayed in The Harmony Legian Hotel. Strategically located at Jl Legian, Kuta where all the restaurants, pubs & shops are the most happening in Kuta. Just 5-10 minutes walking distance to Kuta Beach & 15-20 minutes to Hard Rock Cafe & Kuta Square.
The room's air-cond is in good working order & cold (the way we liked it) & we had hot showers all the time! The bed is clean & as comfortable as our own & it is peaceful & quiet when we slept! The room were cleaned every morning & clean towels & complimentary mineral water were provided everyday. They provided free airport transfer, free wi-fi & also car & motorbike rental. The breakfast (menu changes everyday) taste good enough & is sufficient to sustain us till lunch time though it only has 2 main meals, one side dish, bread, dessert & fruits. I think the swimming pool is too small unless for children... The staff are friendly & helpful...
However, they were unable to provide us with extra pillows or extend our check out time cos they are fully booked everyday. Also we were greeted by mosquitoes the minute we walked into the room & we were clapping our hands every night. However, we didn't get any bites from them, though...
Overall, it is a great place to stay for Rp350k nett a night...
