We stayed 6 nights on a luxury escapes all inclusive deal. We arrived late at night after having our flight cancelled. From the time we arrived to the time we left it was a truly amazing holiday. The ground are beautiful and the service was first class. The all inclusive was so good. It really is all inclusive 24-7. We spent the first night in a guest room but the next morning we decided to upgrade to a pool access suite. We loved these rooms. If you can afford to upgrade it is definitely worth it. We travelled with 2 teenagers aged 14 and 16. They made good use of the room service. We ate at all the restaurants except Sakura. They were all good. We especially loved Sateria for lunch and dinner. We spent most of our evenings here. Special Thanks to Anom who was excellent. Only negative and it is so minor is the bathroom amenities. They are in a hard bottle and I found it very difficult to get the contents out of the bottles. It sounds so silly to even mention it .Our stay at Melia Bali would have to be one of the best holidays we have ever had. Definitely recommend this place. Thank you to everyone at Melia Bali for a truly wonderful holiday and we will be back soon.

Room Tip: Pool access suites are great

Melia was an amazing place to stay. Located in the quiet nusa dau it has it's own beach area and a great pool. We got the all inclusive deal and it was worth every cent. All meals we had were perfect (although if we had to pay for them they were a bit pricey). The room was clean and tidy and the grounds of the resort were always immaculate. The staff are well trained and polite and we didn't want for anything. Thank you Melia for making my husbands first trip to Bali memorable.

We stayed at the Amelia for 6 days after a long trip touring Australia and Singapore. We wanted pure relaxation and that’s exactly what we got. We were warmly welcomed and checked in . Our room was ready and it was overlooking the beautiful gardens and pool. The outstanding features of this beautiful hotel are the amazing , friendly staff who blew me away with their kindness and beautiful smiles. The gardens are beautifully manicured and well attended. All the public areas are spotless and well looked after. We had the bed and breakfast option which suited us fine. There are plenty of choices for breakfast and there seems to be no mad rush if you go early. We spent most of our time on the beautiful beach which has bar service. We did have lunch a couple of times at the poolside bar and the food as fresh and delicious. Our room was spacious but the biggest problem was the overriding smell of damp and must. We reported this and a condenser was promptly delivered to our room, however despite litres of water being emptied every day, the smell remained. Beautiful resort!!!

We loved our stay at Melia, such a luxury for us. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever experienced, so much variety & everything so fresh. I loved the fruit carvings. The staff are wonderful & make you feel very special. The grounds & beach area are beautiful.

We stayed in June. It was a long flight for the U.K. 16 hours total. We arrived after midnight so although we were on the Level package we checked it at the regular reception. After that though we enjoyed the Level, the staff were exceptional, always there to help, and the Level Bar was a nice place to relax and grab some drinks and canapés etc in the afternoon.

Beautiful hotel, awesome lobby area and amazing and immaculately kept grounds, water features everywhere and an array of plants and trees.

Good Spa, good range of treatments. Had several treatments and all were good and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was professionally done and the bonus was wing able relax after the treatments outside in the garden area with hot ginger tea, hearing the wind chimes and feeling the sea breeze.

Room (3131). We very happy with our room, large bed, tea/coffee facilities, a decent sized fridge and minibar. The tv had a couple English speaking channels including a movie channel. The bathroom was great, and they supplied nice toiletries and replenished when necessary. We had some issues with the air con but they sorted it really quickly. Our room was on the end of block 3, with a swim up pool which got some nice sunshine in the afternoon. Really relaxing and peaceful area when we were there. As some other have mentioned the bed was a little hard, but the pillow were huge and billowy, loved them.

We ordered room service several times mostly due to having jet lack for the first few days; we were basically up all night and could hardly get up the next day. They were always very prompt and the food was decent quality.

We really enjoyed the Level pool area, it was peaceful and the pool was beautiful and an ideal temperature. If we went early we had the whole area to ourselves.

There were some issues during our stay, small things but one of the most awesome things about this hotel was the staff and management, they always listened and were very responsive and quick to fix things. Very impressive. I wish more hotels would do the same.

The restaurants were good, could not beat the ambience, especially the beachside one. Over the two weeks we found there were several dishes to be avoided. In my opinion, the quality and consistency of the food and drinks were the weakest link and could do with some attention. I can't put my finger on the specifics, it was small stuff. Some items were really good and others were really bad. An example was serving dips like humous with soft, over greasy paratha bread. The steaks were clearly great quality meat, but were inconsistently cooked even if you asked for the same thing. Same with the drinks. I ordered a drink which arrived quickly and was totally awesome, ordered a second, waited ages and it was like a totally different drink even down to the glass it was in and how much ice was in it. I am sure it came from a different bar, but surely they should be making the same drinks, the same way?

The staff were amazing, I don't think we met one who was not friendly, super helpful and did not go out of there way to simply chat and make you feel you had a new friend.

Overall we arrived overworked and exhausted and in need of a vacation, we left after nearly two weeks feeling revived and relaxed. Could easily have stayed a bit longer.

Room Tip: Swim up room 3131 gets the sun first and is at the end of the row.
