This is the 1st review I have ever written ………… I could not be more thankful to the beautiful staff of The Grand Bali Nusa Dua. From the warm friendly smiles of the guards & security staff to our lovely little room cleaner, the restaurant wait staff and last but not least the always so helpful reception staff. They could not have been more helpful, we found comfort in their genuine concern for our daughter who had a bad accident over there & we had to rush over to Bali to be with her. Nothing was too much trouble for them from changing the shower rose to a handheld one so she could shower, finding us an extra stool so she could put her leg up, fixing up an old wheelchair for us to utilize once she come out of hospital & not to mention holding the most suitable room to accommodate her in once she was discharged from hospital at no additional cost. They also ferried my daughter backwards & forwards to the hospital after discharge for further treatments and finally to the airport and again all at no extra cost.
On behalf of my wife and I we thank you so very much.
As for the accommodation itself, it’s a beautiful older more traditional type of resort. The gardens are very well maintained and are really quite pretty, the pool and bar area is very peaceful and you can always find sun or shade to your liking at anytime of day. The restaurant overlooks the pool and garden area and is a very relaxing tranquil place to sit back and enjoy b/fast or bintang or two. The food was also quite nice and reasonably priced. We only stayed in a Deluxe Garden View room but it was quite nice. The rooms are really quite large with a nice big separate bathroom and toilet area and a lovely little private pergola area. This resort is very reasonably price for Nusa Dua & we would highly recommend.

I love to stay in The Grand Bali Nusa Dua. I book for a room with swimming pool view.
They have everything I need; big and comfortable room, huge bed, bath up, good amenities (just missing the bubble bath up, gonna be great if they prepare bubble bath up in every room so people can use it once they need it), and they also have balcony.
They also have big swimming pool and restaurant next to swimming pool. They have a private beach around 10 minutes from the hotel and they can provide motorbike rent for you if you need it. But you can use free shuttle from hotel to go to the beach.
The beach was good and relaxing. Best time to go to beach is around 12pm, and you can take lunch in the beach, they have restaurant there. The surfing board rental price in the beach is quite expensive if you compare with the one in the Kuta beach. There is a street market around the beach.
The staff of Grand Bali Hotel was very helpful and nice. Perfect!
If you want to see sunrise, you can go to waterblow around 5.30am.

Room tip: For surfing you can choose Kuta or Canggu Beach; but for relaxing Nusa Dua beach is the best place, cleanest beach with white sand.

We booked a 3-week stay and had a wonderful, relaxing time at this iconic resort. So much so that we hardly ventured beyond the hotel and its stunning gardens, pools and beach. Requested a room change from our partial ocean view, to a full ocean view (which was part of our package) and was relocated to a more modern 3rd-floor room with a panoramic ocean view including the famous Waterblow. No fuss, the move handled smoothly and professionally.
Breakfast was a delight with full buffet on offer as self-serve or brought to your table if preferred. Special orders were no problem - a special thanks to Sutrisna and staff at the Club Restaurant who looked after us superbly.
We can't wait to return in 2023.

Our first trip to Bali and we were so impressed. From our first encounter at the check in to our final check out the staff at the front desk were great, nothing was too much trouble. Sarbawa and his team in house keeping went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. Our breakfasts were one of the highlights, so much food and staff like Widya and Yenni went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us, and thank you all in catering that made my birthday cake and sang a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Going to miss you all
Grand Mirage certainly gets our Approval.

This was the second time we have stayed in this resort and choose it because of its excellent facilities, great variety and everything you need in house for a family holiday. Bali has clearly been badly effected by Covid and this has resulted in many closures, including four of the five restaurants within the resort and Bali Collection across the road. Upon our arrival our private transfer hadn’t arrived and whilst catching a taxi to the resort an hour later arriving our room wasn’t ready. The limited food and drink options were problematic for our family and hence we requested to leave. The manager was very helpful and understanding offering to transfer us to Andaz as an alternative which we accepted. Whilst better, food and drink service was still limited and delayed. It’s unfortunate that our first overseas holiday in three years has been marred by so many issues. I would recommend that westerners wait a while longer before returning, however this probably delays the sorting of teething problems while they get back on their feet.
