I’m truly recommend this places.
This place is so authentic, truly balinese feel, a warm friendly-staff, very delicious dinner and breakfast menu selection, never fail!
Just around 25 minutes from Ngurah Rai Airport, and 10 minutes from famous beach in Sanur, Sindu Beach, this places is strategic!
To everyone who wants spend time with relax, rejuvenate yours, this is the right places you have to stay!

We just stayed for 10 nights in “the alantara”, in Sanur, Bali.
Before comming to Sanur, we stayed for 4 nights in “Sakara- resort” in Ubud. This hotel in Ubud approached perfection. We knew that both hotels came from the same group, so we had very high expectations. At first sight the hotel also tries to reach perfection. The rooms are great, the staff is very polite, the swimmimgpool is fantastic.
After a short stay we discovered some little mistakes. No big things, but some small details you do not expect in a 5* hotel like this.
First, the orange juice is not fresh. It is a kind of syrup with water. I a 5* hotel you expect fresh juice for breakfast. ( or as a basic for a cocktail later in the day).
Secondly, if you take a second coffee for breakfast, you have to pay. One coffee is part of breakfast, a second one is optional (and charged)
Thirth... the hotel has a really big problem with the cleanlyness of the sheets and towels. I do not know what the problem is. Is it the washing company? The washing machines? The used products?? But almost everyday we had problems with sometimes the towels, sometimes the sheets, ... This is really not acceptable for a 5* hotel. For me this is number one attention point.
And finally the shuttle to the beach. On the website of the hotel theire is mentionned “ a shuttle to/from the beach, on demand,...”.
Once you have arrived at the hotel they say there is 1 shuttle every hour, and the shuttle service stops at 05.00 PM. If you come/go to the beach at other moments, you have to take (and pay) for a normal taxi.
To be totally honnest i must say that, after complaining about this at hotel reception, the talked about this with the magement. The management told me that they were totally OK with my point of vieuw. So we had a shuttle, on demand, whenever we wanted one, without having to pay.

Like i said ... these are little things... it is more a good advice, and not a Remarque.

Top of the billen.

We stayed 9 days and had a room on the ground floor. There was a shower in the garden, surrounded by plants. A great experience. The staff is very nice and helpful. Great pool, lots of tropical plants, different menus for breakfast to choose from. Shuttle service to the beach and back. Due to the location not necessarily suitable for walks. We felt very well and can recommend the hotel for a stay in sanur unrestricted.

Room Tip: Downstairs rooms have a garden shower. Great.

Very friendly English speaking staff, the room was very clean and tidy. The hotel is not situated very close to the beach but the free shuttlebus service is offered to Sanur beach and a supermarket. We participated in a day tour organized by the hotel and we really enjoyed about that.
