Big rooms, good value and fair facilities. Enjoyed my stay at Taksu. Friendly staff, that will try and make all efforts to enrich your stay. This might not be for the long beach stay, but for a shorter stay or working visit, then very good.

As we live on Nusa Lembongan we stay in Bali often. Whether its for a break away from the island or for days where we have to run errand on the mainland we always stay at The Taksu. We have stayed in more hotels in Bali than I can even count and once we found The Taksu that was it. The rooms are HUGE, with excellent air conditioning, great showers with lots of power in the shower head ( hate those dribbly ones ) most have balconies and they are always spotlessly clean.

The pool is massive surrounded by established gardens, and a bonus is that Bali bakery is on the first level for when we have a hankering for a good coffee and some afternoon tea.

The location can't be beat. Within walking distance of great bars, restaurants and day spas - Try Glo just down the street. They are the best. Having said that, Taksu has now opened a day spa and whilst I haven't tried any treatments I have had their massage and it was one of the best I have ever had, and I have had many.

The staff at this hotel can't do enough for you. We think Yayat, one of the managers there is fantastic and we have his number in our phone for those times when we need a room at the last minute.

If you are looking for a quiet, well placed hotel in sanur that has everything you need you will find it here. There are bigger and fancier hotels but they come with a much bigger price tag and many of them are very old. Taksu is still new and fresh, thats important in Bali.

We send all of our friends here every time. Everyone loves it.

Room Tip: get a room overlooking the pool

Very nice hotel for the price, only stayed one night but lovely hotel and friendly staff. Only thing just watch some rooms you book as they dont have balcony. Rooms are very spacious and they location is great, not far from restaurants, live music and a stroll to the beach

Stayed for 5 nights in November. Low season, though weather still great, so the hotel was quiet. Rooms are huge, with large, comfortable bed, sofa, balcony with table and chairs, smart bathroom. Fresh bottled water every day, minibar - we used it for our own drinks. Wide choice in the buffet breakfast plus order from the egg chef. Good evening food though there are so many restaurants in Sanur it's normal to eat in one of those. Big pool. PC terminals for free use. And such wonderful staff. We got stuck because the airport closed due to a volcanic eruption. The staff were so helpful towards getting a new flight and helping at the airport to make sure we were OK. All staff speak excellent English. The hotel is a stop for the shuttle bus to Hardy's, the wonderful department store and supermarket on Jl Tamblingan. Go there for aircon shopping - including hassle free souvenirs at sensible prices. There is also a shuttle bus to Kuta, Ubud and elsewhere. Location is a 10 minute walk to the beach, so further than for most hotels but there's things to see on the way. In the evening stop at the lively Linga Longa bar, on the same street, for drinks and live band.

It is a nice hotel, couldn't say anything really bad. Big room, simple and quiet. However, still thinking that it is a little bit to expensive as for 3 star hotel in Bali. It is possible to find small hotels for a reasonable price, especially if it's not a peak season.
