I think that we were very fortunate when we visited because there were only a few other people staying there. I loved this place so much, it is super peaceful, and very clean. Of course there were a few random ants but you are in the jungle so what do you expect. The staff were so wonderful, it was my birthday and they went above and beyond to make it memorable. The rooms were huge and the bed was very comfortable. Great views everywhere!!!

Room Tip: Lower room so you have no other rooms blocking your view

For our November break in Bali, we chose to stay 2 nights in Ubud and 2 nights in Kuta. The first two nights we stayed at the Natura Resort & Spa Ubud. Checking in process was fast and the staff was very friendly. The resort is really very peaceful, we love it very much….. Its natural forest, with sound of the forest (birds, monkeys etc.) and sound of the river are very relaxing. We took the two bedrooms pool Villa 8, which is actually more suitable for a family with children. The main bedroom is very big with a very nice view to the forest, sofa and a big bathroom too. The facilities are good & well maintained. It was clean, but cleanliness could be better. Breakfast was delicious, also the fried banana for our afternoon tea. There are two swimming pool, near the Restaurant and near the Spa. We can walk down to the river and enjoy the nice massage by the river. All the staffs are very friendly with smiling faces, the process from reservation to checking out were smooth. We did love this place and will come back someday.

We had a Deluxe Villa with private pool. The villa was clean and cozy although some parts in the bathroom would benefit from refurbishing. The Highlight of the Villa was the private Pool with a spectular view making you feel you are in the middle of a dense rainforest.

However, unfortunately the Kitchen and room cleaning service do not get a lot of attention in this resort. Dinner and Parts of the breakfast were just not good. Moreover, the menu in the room is falling apart, the mini bar was not refilled and cleaning of the room was not as you would expect it from a luxury resort.

We really hope the management will get these problems fixed to attract more people to visit this extraordinary place.

I booked a villa two months in advance. Their website gave me the option to select a villa with a private pool. ( they only have one with a pool) I paid a deposit. Then I traveled 8000 miles to stay in the the villa that I reserved and paid for. I also requested a message for both my wife and I upon arriving and gave them an ETA within two hours. This is important to us due to the stress of a very long travel distance and multiple airports.
When we arrived they said that the villa I reserved was take for the week and had NO other rooms to
offer us! We stood there with our luggage in the driveway looking like fools with no place to go.
They did not even offer to help us find alternate accommodations.
I called a travel agent in Australia and they got us a villa on the opposite side of Bali called the Ayana resort and spa. We got a cliff side villa and were in the hands of a wonderful masseuse within three hours. I would not recommend the Natura hotel in ubud, Bali Indonesia.

Small hotel in a quiet environment with superbs suites with view on the jungle.
Despite the hotel is not too far from Ubud center, it remains very quiet in a landscape environment. City center is reachable with free shuttle.
We had the chance to have a room at the lower level of the hotel with a superb terras directly in the jungle. The room was around 40m², where tea and fruits were offered at arrival.
The staff is so friendly that it is difficult to leave them after 1 week spent there. For example, without asking anything, refreshments are gently proposed when you're at the swimming pool.
Breakfast menu is wide and complete enough, and the view from the restaurant is so amazing !!

If you are lucky enough, you could have monkeys coming around the swimming pool.
In summary, nice place to go to visit Ubud and its region.
