We have previously stayed at tegal sari but they were fully booked so we thought we would try Green Field. We had 3 different rooms over the 3 days we were there. Our sons had the cheapestr room in the original hotel which was really basic - dark, musty and a bit depressing. They then moved to a mid range top floor bungalow near the pool which was really gorgeous. My husband and I had one of the most expensive rooms - a top floor one in a bungalow overlooking the rice paddies. This was stunning - really big romm - luxurious bathroom and a lovely big verandah and bar area where we would all meet each evening for a cocktail or too and watch the sun set and the ducks go home with their owners - fabulous ! The staff are really friendly and the pool is devine. We think it was every bit as good as Tegal Sari and would return in a heartbeat :)
