This is a very good place. Very friendly staff. My kids really liked it. However, it is far from any store and so everything is pricey including transportation to visit other places. So, good for a visit for two days or so. If going with kids, I recommend to ask them remove candles in toilets. That is hazard for kids. Happened to mine.

Dear Masoud A,

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay at MesaStila. This is great to know that you found our place was very good and our staffs were friendly implementing to our commitment in delivering the services with a Tulus (serving with a whole-hearted). We are very sorry for the inconvenience experience with a candle set-up and appreciated your feedback for removing it from the room of guests travelled with young children. Once again, thank you very much for staying with us and we look forward to having the pleasure of welcoming you and your family back to MesaStila in the not too distant future.

I recently had a solo stay at MesaStila and loved every minute of it. The villas are spread out amongst a coffee plantation so you get a real sense of privacy. The villas are huge and well appointed. Service by all staff members is excellent. The spa and Hammam are amazing. The food is healthy and good. I really couldn't fault any aspect of my stay.

We live in Jakarta and were in desperate need of nature. We travel a lot, both for work and leisure and are quite picky with accommodation. For our holidays, we like to stay away from soulless big chains without having to compromise on comfort and quality. Mesa Stila did not disappoint: from start to finish, everything was perfect.

The hotel itself and the grounds are magical, and the mountain views from the rooms are spectacular. Even the hotel's website doesn't do justice.

Thanks to the activities, we never got bored during our 3 day stay and never got out of the hotel. We made full use of the facilities on site (spa, pool, restaurant, kid indoor playground) and of the complementary activities (yoga, jungle gym, coffee tour plantation). Considering the remote location of the hotel, we were very impressed by the level of professionalism and skill of the staff (I practice yoga twice a week, and my husband is very athletic and both instructors were really good).
Unfortunately we didn't have time to try horseriding but the horses looked very well cared for and the man in charge told us he was an ex-jockey.

Our visit happened during rainy season and although it rained most afternoons, we always found something to do (hanging out with our friends in the main house enjoying the complementary afternoon tea, taking turns going to the spa...).

We found the hotel very kid friendly (traveling with 3 kids: 3, 1, and 6 months): indoor playroom, shallow kid pool, accommodating restaurant and good kids menu...

A few packing tips: clothes for slightly cooler weather (the hotel is located 700m above sea level and it can get chilly in the evenings during rainny season), plastic flip flops in case you are visiting during rainy season

Room tip: We stayed at the Ambar Villa, which was perfect for us (3 adults and 2 kids). Note however that the master bedroom is HUGE while the second bedroom is tiny (single bed only) and has an outdoor bathroom.

Was my second time to visited this Mesastila. They have great view and great staff! They have 22 hectare land. 11 hectare is for coffee plantation, and the rest is for villas. They have 22 rooms. The price for villas is quite expensive but I think it's valuable including coffee plantation tour.

We fell in love since we arrived at the gate of Mesa Stila. My older daughter (6 yo) said it's just like her dream castle :) the concierge, lobby, and the villa were beautiful as well as overall resort landscape. The staff's service was impressive & very helpful. We enjoyed the coffee plantation tour, beautiful afternoon tea, bicycle riding for my two-daughters, swimming, and quality breakfast indeed. My daughters did not want to go home after stay, so did I and my husband actually haha. Mesa Stila is exactly the place to spend quality time with your beloved. Thank you for the great service!
