I had stayed here twice in the past few months because I needed to be in the Wonokromo district. The first stay was mildly disappointing but the last one was completely disappointing.
The rooms I had were in the main building and they looked that they have been recently refurbished - no complaints, until I opened the tap and the water smelled bad and quite disgusting. After that things have gone worse for me. In my last stay the air conditioning control was broken and I couldn't adjust it. I complained and it was quickly fixed. That night, the air conditioning unit made a disturbing high pitched sound and I was too tired to complain. I just switched it off and the room became too hot. It was a sleepless night for me.
The quality of food was low. I ordered an item marked as recommended by the chef and it came with an over cooked rice. The breakfast spread was equally disappointing like some of the complaints here.
And there were mosquitoes in the room, lots of them.
Those needing handicapped access please be aware that the main building does not have elevators. I also didn't see ramps at the lobby.
There are lots of other hotels nearby and I won't stay here in the future.More
