Stay in wonderful resort

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 17 Feb 2024
Hidden gem in Trikora beach, located in Bintan island. That's why it is named Bintan Pearl. The room was spacious, need to furnished a little bit. The view was superb, it is facing to the beach directly. The only restaurant is D'wave. It served all day dining. All the staff were friendly, especially Adi. Big thanks to him who always cheerful and smiling. We'll definitely comeback for sure.

Bintan Pearl Beach Resort is located about an hour drive from all the ferry terminals, during the hour journey you will see village life which is very cool and already it sets the mood for a nice and relaxing time.

Hospitality was nice and warm upon arrival, and the layout of the room is amazing - basically if you leave all curtains undrawn you will have a seaview while you shower :D Also, you are so close to the sea that you can literally hear the sea waves as you are lying on the very comfortable bed. I slept for 12 straight hours on the first night, a very much needed rest.

They have a sister resort which is Bintan Agro, a much bigger resort with more facilities. I did a 3 hour spa session there, it was really blissful and I received the pampering which was much needed. It is called Harmony Pure Honey Milk Bath treatment, which includes a jacuzzi, body scrub, aroma massage, body mask and finally a milk bath. My entire body felt so moisturized after that! I kept dozing off in the middle of the treatment but i fought really hard to stay awake hehehe

Food at their Sun Moon Kelong were fresh and delicious, prices are reasonable for Bintan's standard, and they offer frequent shuttles between both resorts to facilitate your movements.

I would definitely recommend Bintan Pearl for an enjoyable and affordable weekend getaway

This is a hotel block buildingwith a pool and a view, buffet ; catering for large group of Chinese tourists spending the time taking selfies. Not much to do there but karaoke. Never saw anyone in the water

No atmosphere, no relaxation just groups of people moving from selfie points to food and bus back. I wonder whether the groups themselves stay longer than one night

Fell in love with the hotel the moment we alighted from the free shuttle bus. The highlight of this resort is the infinity pool, with the right angle, it’s just endless sea.

We stayed here over the Chinese New Year period and thankfully, the resort wasn’t crowded at all. A small and secluded resort with just 16 rooms. Prior to arrival, I contact the resort via WhatsApp to arrange for the free shuttle bus. The resort is about an hour’s drive away from the ferry terminal, which we didn’t mind at all as we got to see some nice views and a little sneak peek into the local life. Check in was smooth and our room had the beautiful sea and pool view. All rooms in the resort face the sea. Staff were friendly and accommodating, acceded to most of our requests and a generous late checkout.

However, we were disappointed with the limited food choices and most of it was Chinese food ! We wanted to have local cuisine! And there were no cocktails either, only beer. Would have loved to have a frozen margarita by the pool! And very limited and expensive Chinese food options as well. We had to go to the neighbouring resorts for our meals. Also, no water sports activities or spas available as well- we did that in the neighbouring resorts. Every afternoon, a group of PRC tourists are dropped-off for lunch and some pool time. Pool is relatively small so it might get a bit crowded.

We also managed to catch some firecrackers and lion dance while leaving the resort. Loved everything about the resort sans the food/spa/sports option :)

We had a fantastic stay at this place. Never stayed so close to the beach. The hotel is very new and comfortable. The restaurant is predominantly Chinese but can accommodate food restrictions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only negative is that between 2 pm and 6 pm, bus loads of tourists from their other property come her to have tea and hang out by the pool, which makes it very crowded and noisy. Stay in your room or go for a walk in this period. The rest of the time is wonderful.

Bintan Pearl is the best place to relax and unwind. Swimming pool is awesome , adjacent to the beach. The view from balcony of your room is breathtaking. Its a good place to just chill. But food is not so good. They serve local dishes and very little selection.
