The bespoke service of Banyan Tree shone right through our stay: from the 1st moment, we were received at the ferry terminal to our daily interactions with buggy drivers and wait staff and to the very last upon check out. We were addressed by our names wherever we went unlike in mega hotels we could be persona non grata.

Our villa was spick and span despite the property being 24 years old. The housekeeping team led by Lilik did a marvellous job with their nightly turn down service. They added a personal touch befitting our special celebration.

We had meals at all 3 dining outlets and they all served superb cuisine. Each time before placing our orders wait staff would ask if we had any food allergies. Food presentation was immaculate, portion size was just right and needless to say taste of every dish was exquisite.

Found it most interesting to be offered 4 different types of rice for the main course ordered at the Saffron. Love the crackers served with 3 different dips as appetiser as we waited for food to arrive.

Love the atmosphere of the swimming pool overlooking the beach, not because I was the only one swimming there. The pool attendant was friendly and served us chilled water and freshening up towels the moment we sat at the deck chairs.

Learned that this property is going through renovations but we certainly didn't feel it. Surely its a reason to come back after full renovations are complete.

Family booked the biggest villa (pricier but worth the experience) and we had a great time! Love that they have the buggy service and we can travel around the resort anytime anywhere. Communication between the staff is generally good. Friendly staff :-) Thank you! Nice kueh lapis too haha.

Oh ye, we also paid for the blue moon in villa dining and it was a fun beautiful experience.
