Just completed our third visit at Tasik Ria. The place alone would be enough to rave about . Warm friendly people excellent diving good food and a great sunset bar. Excellent value for our vacation dollar.
The cream on the top would be Dan Green, his attention to detail shows in every aspect of the operation, but his personal attention makes every visitor feel like they've been friends for a long time. He will personally greet each guest and attend to there every need.
No review would be complete without mentioning the Dive Shop and crew. A special thanks to Adri, you made our spectacular diving even more entertaining.
Also a special thanks to Herman, always there to greet us every morning and teach us a new word for the day

Room Tip: 616 has a cool private outside bathroom and excellent views of the sea and sunsets

First trip to Indonesia first to Tasik Ria. Everything was just great. Room was amazing (we had seaview) , food was great, locatio for diving perfect and the divecenter located on the resort professional and very very helpful and friendly. The whole atmosphere is very friendly and we couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended!

What can I say, it is a beautiful setting, the diving is second to none, the dive staff and hotel staff were brilliant, very kind and genuinely welcoming, the resort had everything we needed. The accomodation was very good and the amenities perfect. A great place to relax and dive. The english owner Dan couldn't do enough for us, he went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we were happy and well looked after, especially with our dietary requirements, we are vegan. Each day Dan would make sure we had a separate vegan dish, we can't thank him enough for his kindness and attention to detail. We will definitely be returning.

We had a really lovely 9 day holiday here. Tasik Ria was everything we hoped it would be and more. The “extra” sparkle was the excellent and friendly service we received from everyone we met, particularly the hard working and dedicated General Manager Dan, who gets lots of positive comments on this page. We don’t want or need “fussy service”, but the service at Tasik Ria was special because it was so sincere: everyone seemed very focused on ensuring that we as guests had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves. We’ve stayed in many hotels all over the world and rarely found such warm and generous hosts.

We came with a clear objective: to learn to dive. And we were very happy with the quality and nature of our training. Deeker was very professional and gave us great confidence. He, and Tasik Ria will always be special to us as the place we met that objective and first learnt to Scuba. Bunaken is renowned as a world class dive destination and now we know why. There are insufficient superlatives to describe the wonderful marine environment of coral, fish and many many sea turtles that we saw. Tasik Ria Divers are highly recommended as the people to take you there.

It’s not always easy to tell what a place will be like just by reading the hotel’s website and the reviews online. Our actual experience was better than we hoped for and we have left with very fond memories of the hotel and its staff. As others have said there are a few parts of the hotel that could do with upgrading (lights on paths for example) but we were extremely happy with our choice of hotel in Manado and had a wonderful time there.

If you go you will meet: a housekeeping team that kept our room immaculate, a (amazing value for money) massage team who soothed our sore muscles and relaxed both my wife and I, Diane and her catering crew who made sure we vegetarians were well fed, Leanne and her Dive Team who ensured our hours under water were so enjoyable and memorable, and not forgetting Andrew and the rest of the reservations team who ensured our passage to and from the hotel was smooth and entirely hassle-free. If you book this hotel you too will leave with the great memories we have.
I'm 100% happy to recommend Tasik Ria.

Room Tip: The sea view bungalows are spacious and very comfortable. The outdoor bathroom was lovely and the room itself clean & bug free.

Stayed here for 11 nights. Had a great time.
The resort needs some TLC sunbed covers are shabby and need replacing. Plus other minor things. Cushions on seats in Jetty Bar etc.
The staff however are fantastic, nothing is a problem and they make you feel like you belong. Daniel Green and Dianna especially. We wanted to tru squid cooked in ink and Dianna went to the market got some and prepared it for us. Dan goes out of his way to be helpful.
3 of our parties were divers and had a fab time.
Really enjoyed my time here, great resort if a little money was spent so it was not tired, it could be a fanatstic resort.
