This lovely, secluded beach resort has it all. A world class surfing beach, stylish luxury villas set amongst gardens, water sports, 2 great restaurants, spa treatments...the list goes on. Pretty close to perfect.

Yes part of the beach is property of the resort and it is truly magnificent. There were locals around so I don't agree with some of the other reviews we meet some kids that were fishing and locals that were walking horses.

The scenery is amazing, really paradise. But that is where it ends. The food was below standard and the service was good. Staff is friendly, but during our stay we did not meet the management which is strange as it is such a small resort. The resort is overpriced for what you are getting. We have been staying in high top end hotels and resorts across the world and we can only guess because of the scenery they are "best hotel/resort in the world"

Nihiwatu beach is only for people that are staying at expensive Nihiwatu resort, all other persons including locals can't enter the beach. We were visiting some beaches around Nihiwatu beach and got to see it from a distance, the area around is really nice. In my opinion it's a shame that someone can close a beach and have it only for their rich guests:( I wouldn't go there even if I could afford it, because I don't agree with such privileges for certain group of people.
