Owner description: Tel Arad is one of Israel’s most important archaeological sites. A fortified Canaanite city and fortresses from the time of the kings of Judah have been unearthed at the site. The remains of a unique Judean temple and an extraordinary water plant from the times of the Judean kings were discovered in the fortresses. The national park offers campgrounds, a cafeteria and the opportunity to hold events there. A tour of Tel Arad takes between one to two hours.

This is a well maintained site of significant historic interest. We had a guide and the whole tour was fascinating. I'd recommend a guide.

We spent about 2 hours here wandering around the ruins. There were signs in English, Hebrew and Arabic with lots of historical information. It was very impressive and well maintained.

Nabatean ruins in the heart of the Negev. Beautifully intact walls, and if you have a discerning eye you may spot some carved stone features or painted pot sherds. A pretty epic place if you're into archaeology or history.
