Had a great stay there for a few days. Each morning, the front office manager had a walk around the breakfast area, politely asking how people's stay is going. She seemed genuinely interested in feedback, without wanting to interrupt a meal. With any question raised on one day, she was back with an answer the next, personally remembering what each guest had said. She said it was one of the favourite parts of her job - you can tell that she really likes her work, and it shows. It was also obvious that her team feels very supported by her, and that shows as well. Such a postive "crew" can really make the difference between a good stay and a great stay. My first night, I had a "city view" room, which was fine, yet from the second night onward, they were able to "upgrade" me to a "sea view" room, and a corner one at that (windows on two aspects at the corner). These "end" corner rooms (at either "end" of the floor) are slightly smaller than the other rooms, but I found the corner window view to be worth the slight (very slight-hardly noticeable) loss in space, especially as the windows are floor-to-ceiling. As for "sea view" rooms, one must remember this is not a waterfront hotel, so the sea is not right in front of you, but still viewable. The higher the floor, the better, and the lower the room number (...01, ..02, ..03) the better as well as those rooms are closer to the street that the hotel is on, which runs straight to the sea, so the view isn't obstructed by buildings. As for city view rooms, you'd probably want something on the south-facing side of the building if you want to face the city centre area of Tel Aviv - mine was on the north side. The rooms were spacious, clean, colourful, tastefully decorated/designed, functional, and the bed was very comfortable. They had quality amenities/bath products as well. The rooms have several different lighting features, overhead, lamps, and ambient, so you can adjust to your liking. The daily breakfast buffet was fantastic - lots of different choices, each very well presented. Hot egg dishes included local options such as shakshuka (delicious). The gym is excellent, open 24/7. For a desk to work on, it's true these aren't in the rooms, but the top-floor workspace area is just fine for putting down your laptop and cracking on, quiet, excellent views, and has comfortable couches and as well as spacious countertops with plenty of plug ins. There's a couple of booths for private phone calls, and there's free beer in the evenings there as well. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The "Meat Bar Burger" place around the corner lives up to its rep - granted, one doesn't go to Tel Aviv for a burger, but per the reviews, the meat they use is really good. Probably one of the better burgers I've had outside of the US. And yes,the popular chain favourite "Giraffe" is close-by as well. There's also a huge grocery store/drug store/department store (like a massive Walgreens in the US) called Super Pharm across the street that has everything, in case one has forgotten something. Major bus lines into the city centre are just around the corner, you're in the city centre in about 20 minutes, and with the "orange" line using posh buses like proper coach companies (reclining seats, air vents, reading lights, etc) . You just need to have a Krav Card in hand for them. Nice beaches are literally a 15 minute walk away, I'd absolutely stay there again, either for a personal or business trip.
