lobby had been renovated and food is average plus
But swiming pool is in backyard (no sun) and room are so small you need to be a draft to fit into it. I even dont talk about global condition: old old old
Yes all rooms have nice views on beach but its not enough for making you forget you are in a doll room.
There is plenty of new hotel around with nice view.

My Husband and I were in Israel for family business. We decided to stay at the King Solomon Hotel.

The breakfasts were excellent, everyday a huge selection and different to the previous day. The herring selection was delicious. The cheese and mushroom omelette, custom made, were superb.

The downside of the hotel, are the very old and 'tired' rooms. Despite the fact you're out all day, you still need a comfortable bed to sleep in. The bathrooms are minute, and also require work. The views, awesome. Location, fantastic.

If desperate for a place to stay, then check in to King Solomon.

The room was so small you could not swing a cat in it. No view out of the pokey little window - all I could see was tenement blocks. Tiny shower that had a cup sitting in the bottom of it. The fridge was not plugged in. Uncomfortable beds (2 pushed together), only one plug to charge things. Air/con only had one setting and the food was horrible. Woman at the bar had no milk to make coffe - made a phone call to get some and swigged out of a bottle of alcohol while waiting. The men at reception were rude and unhelpful. I would never stay there again.

we stayed one night and felt that we were given a substandard room. We mentioned the dated air con it was either on or off and very noisy." Oh sir (the concierge said)yes we have updated rooms with updated aircon with individual thermostats, the hotel was not full (he said) so why give us a room like this, there was also squashed flies on the wall and the table light was badly water stained - brown.

Room Tip: query what type of room your are getting when you book

Stayed here as a family of 3 traveling with part of a group. Just one night, but I have many good things to say about the staff. First, our tour was running late (the Alitalia flight was very late getting into Tel Aviv). The hotel held dinner open for us. Thank you. Traveling with 3 can be a little difficult. They were able to provide a room that would sleep 3 comfortably. Great view of the Mediterranean Sea.
