Our wonderful hotel hosts at The Artists Colony suggested we come here for the Yemenite street pizza and my son and I loved it. The owner, seen in the photo, works his magic with one assistant and delivers hand-made pizza roll-ups with a limited choice of toppings on thin Yemenite bread, a bit thicker and doughier than what we call a wrap in the U.S. Although the restaurant is on the main tourist-shopping-jewelry-tchokes street, it is the kind of place you would seek out in any large city when you want to taste the local cuisine. We DEVOURED our two pizza wraps and easily could have eaten two more. Definitely visit when in Safed.
