Good value for money. Good location. Very helpful staff. Awesome roof top.

No frills. We had a private double room with bathroom and it had everything one might expect for the price.

Nice kitchen. Awesome roof top. Make sure to try the Cidra they sell at the reception. It is locally made and tastes very unique.

Tiberias hostel is worth a longer visit, if you're not in rush. It's a good starting point for treks in the Golans or other mountains around. Unlike hostels in big cities, it's quiet and laid-back, giving you that relaxing feeling that you're not missing on anything even if you just hang out at the lake. There are dozens of falafel shops, everyone offering great value for money - I had the best one of all Israel here (between the hostel and the bus station). Our breakfast was very good with fresh veggies, toasts and tahini (and other things). The rooms are spacious, good hostel standard. There's a beautiful rooftop terrace with wooden furniture and a common room - lounge with snooker and sofas, a really cosy place. Beautiful experience!

Location is perfect, right near the centre of town, though Tiberias is so small everything is near the centre. Dorms are spacious and bland, no frills here. Hostel staff are quite friendly and can advise on the many day trip options around Tiberias. Views of the town from the rooftop terrace are great and it's a comfortable spot to meet other people after long days wandering around northern Israel. Breakfast spread is decent also.

It was a pleasure for me to stay in the hostel. I liked mostly the friendliness of the staff. I would divide the common bathroom to few smaller individual bathrooms to get more privacy. But for one night it was good.

Shalom Erich,
So happy to hear!
Regarding the shared bathroom;
For having a bit more privacy I would recommend upgrading to our upgraded dorm.
For 15 extra NIS, you get;
Private bathroom and shower,
Room of 4 (not 8),
Towel,
Locker lock

Can't beat that:)
Shira.
