Although the hotel is very pricey, the amenities are quite nice. The best thing is to stroll the property in the evening. It is very relaxing. The Gourmet Buffet is also an experience. Very high end and very tasty. I do not eat kosher, so many of the dishes were perfect for us.

Room tip: Get a room in the Doctor's House!

I did enjoy my stay at this Scottish hotel in the center of Tiberias. The location was great, the room was pleasant and well appointed, and the breakfasts were very good. I was delighted with a few welcome gifts, such as a kit of local olive oil, seasonings and honey, and the makings for a gin and tonic, as well as a small bottle of whiskey (very Scottish indeed). That was a very nice touch. The grounds are beautiful and it was pleasant to sit in a swinging bench at dusk watching the water of the Galilee. The reason for deducting one star from the rating was for three minor reasons; 1). bad in room wifi signals due to the extra thick stone walls of the old buildings. To get any kind of signal while in the room, I had to drag a chair to as close as the room's door as I could get. 2). the front desk concierge was not very helpful and was lacking a bit in English, and 3). -dinner at the hotel was overpriced and not that special. However, I would stay here again, and the rest made up for the small issues.

Though right on the main street in Tiberias the property feels like a hidden gem. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you need. The gardens are just lovely with fantastic views of the Sea of Galilee. It boats beautiful sunset, but I thought sunrise was just as nice.
Though the only restaurant really just offers a buffet, the food is surprisingly good quality and tasty. Plus the menu changes each night, so not repetitive. And they have great coffee.
The pool, spa and fitness center are welcome amenities. The restaurant and reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall, the service here is about the best in Israel.

Room tip: If you want a suite - stay in on of the Antique buildings; otherwise, save the money as the regular rooms are just as nice and comfortable.

Exceptional hotel. In the heart of Tiberias. Attentive staff breathtaking grounds and views. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet and Scottish bar above the restaurant. We were able to quickly jump on 90 for our visits to Galilee and found shopping within walking distance. Parking can be a challenge as they utilize multiple lots but all protected and on the property. Wish we had more than 3 days...

We are at the hotel for the weekend ... an exceptional experience ... we will start with the exceptional service level ... professionalism ... elegance ... and a sincere desire to make you a continuous pleasure while staying at the hotel .... The staff services are exceptional
The rooms are luxurious ... the bed is huge ... the view is stunning ... the garden is well maintained ... and you have a real feeling of recreation in heaven ...
The meals ... The dinner was tasty and simply forbidden ... forbidden ... to give up the seafood.

Breakfast ... what to describe ... a crazy abundance of tasting that leaves you in a dining room for long hours.

Finally... very Recommended ... Even if it is for a one-time visit ...
Do not give up on staying at this hotel!
