Tucked away in a dead end street, this establishment is reasonably priced, clean and has a polite staff. Our room was spacious and breakfast was simple yet wholesome. If you're not looking for something splashy and have ample means of transport, the Astoria is a great option for budget travelling in the area.

Room tip: Rooms overlooking the pool should be advised as to associated noise

The hotel is old and has been gradually refurbished, so there are different kinds of doors, floors and elevators, but the room I checked in was freshly redecorated. The bathroom is ok, but one better open the door to take showers, because the exhaustion doesn’t work. The towels are old, thin and small.
The staff is very friendly, and gives the hotel a familiar atmosphere. Moshe, the maître was extremelly kind, and I think that makes the difference about this hotel.
The breakfast is very tasty.

We stayed in the hotel for one night. We were given an upgraded room which was very nice. The room was very comfortable and had its own air conditioning unit which was a nice surprise.

The breakfast, given that this was not a 5 star hotel was more than enough, and the staff were very helpful

All told and albeit just for one night it was a pleasant stay. I would have no problem to return to the hotel again

Room was spacious and included a balcony. Host provided a welcome fruit and nut platter which was a nice and welcomed surprise. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. We arrived around dinner time and decided to walk down to this unassuming Gasoline Station which had a very nice restaurant that serviced grilled meat with soft warm bread and 18 salads. All very reasonable and filling.

Room tip: We were on the second floor with balcony
