As someone who eats halal, it can be quite tricky in a country like Korea - so I often just sub for vegetarian instead. Yet either way, it can be tough. So my family and I were super fortunate to have found this restaurant - vegetarian friendly AND with a clear "Muslim Friendly" sticker as can be found from the Halal Restaurant Week. A heads up for fellow Muslim travelers!
The place looks less like a restaurant and more like someone's house, but that is what makes it so comforting and a worth-while experience. Very traditional set up. The food is delicious - especially the pajeon (pancake). The host is incredibly friendly and eager to chat, and the other staff even explained all the dishes to my family who were unfamiliar with a lot of the side dishes.
Overall, great place, great food - one of the best eating out experiences I have had in Korea so far! :)
