This hotel was included by Korean Airlines as part of a Business Class return from London to Auckland. The return flights have a 20 or so hour gap and this hotel fills the space more than adequately. It took me back to the time when I was travelling long haul with my job and staying in 4 or 5 star hotels. This one is definitely 5 star. We were put up in the older and allegedly not so good East Tower. Even so, there are tons of polished stone, huge public spaces and a stunning range of food on offer. Rooms are huge and well equipped with comfortable beds and plenty of work space. Almost everything has been thought of, down to a plug adaptor. Staff are helpful and plentiful.
The only odd features are that the Cafe in the West Tower ,which offers a full buffet dinner, works by sittings so you can't just eat when you want. Similarly, all users of all pools must wear swim caps.
We had a room on the 5th floor with a fine view of a wall but higher up rooms would be able to see the Airport if they wanted.
This is streets better than the usual Airport Hotel.
