This restaurant is usually well-attended for being down a side alley. The operators are Pakistani, though the wait staff is Chinese. The curries are more on the dry side, fragrant and moderately spicy. The meat is presumably halal. We've been several times but they always seem to be out of paneer. They serve basmati rice, which is not always guaranteed at other Indian places in the city. The naan has a nice crisp to it but lacks something in pocketing and elasticity. This place is right around the corner from our apartment building, and is quick and economical, particularly good at the end of a long weekday.

Always great, naan bread is to die for! Lucky enough to eat here twice this trip. Try the Palak Jinga very tasty.

We have lived in Taichung for about 2 months now and pretty much eat out every night. The options were getting repetitive, so we decided to give this place a shot. Now take this review as it is because both my wife and I are not particularly Indian food lovers. Overall this was pretty good stuff, and as far as Indian food goes it was about high middle compared to the restaurants back home. The garlic naan has way too much garlic. The veggie samosas are really good though. We had the tandoori chicken which was good but had all the bones left in it. This made it a pain to eat. This place is def worth a visit though especially if you like Indian food. The owners are very nice and speak good English as well.
