We stayed here as part of combo offer with sister hotel in Karon. 5 night stay. Arrival was good, very nice room (Hibiscus) Complex was on a hill and if you have mobilty issues you should beware although there was transport around the site is required and asked for! Breakfasts were good with good variety was especially like the coffee station. We generally ate out for dinner in local restaurants and had one meal in a la carte which was in a lovely setting and atmosphere but unfortunately the food was very disappointing and if this hadn't been part of our package we would have been upset. We were also booked into a show provided by the hotel(2 days in advance) but when we arrived for the show and meal, it has been cancelled and no one has bothered to tell us! The room was excellent and we spent our days around the pool which was very nice and well maintained, as were the grounds.

This was our second visit here and it is a beautiful setting. The rooms are lovely and the grounds very well tended. You will struggle to get a sunbed by the beach but there will be free beds around the pool before 10.30. Breakfast is very nice and Fon or favourite member of the management team. We did not eat in the hotel often as we preferred the atmosphere of other venues outside such as the Everyday restaraunt and the bar along the beach to the left. A great place as part of multi centre Thailand holiday unless plenty of sunbathing is all you require. We also used Khao Lak Vista Tours for superb reliable trips. A wonderful base for a holiday in Khao Lak. You will not get a warmer welcome.

We stayed two weeks at Moracea in the late of March before Covid 19. And we enjoyed. It was the most peaceful holiday without hurry and commotion. Surrounded by seawaves and beautiful nature, sing of birds. Andamansea was only at a distance of 15 meters of our bungalow. Amazing!
Breakfasts were manysided and tasty. But we didn´t like birds which came and stole bits of your breakfast, if you leaved your food without control.
Staff were very politea and helpful , especially Mr. Sun. Thousand thanks to him!

This is by far, the best holiday we have ever had. Stayed here with my wife, Debbie. The hotel is amazing, the staff are superb, the location is excellent. We were here in March 2020 (just before everything hit the fan back in the UK with the COVID 19 outbreak) and we couldn't have felt more at home. The room we stayed in (315) had the most beautiful view of the sea, and sunset at night. Close, but not too close, to the main town, where bars, shops and restaurants are plentiful. The food at the hotel was perfect, amazing choice and tastes everyday (we stayed all inclusive). I have fallen in love with Thailand, and when all of this madness is over, we will definitely be returning, and will be staying here again. Highly recommended, perfect in every way. Thank you to all of the staff who work so hard to make your holiday astounding! Special mention to the amazing Staff who work tirelessly, Ken, Pop, Aoy, A, Narm, Nat, Nuch, Naprang and of course, Natty, who is so friendly and such a kind person. Hope that your family are well xx

We have just returned from oour 14 night holiday. Chose the Moracea after alot of research and so glad we did.
Rooms are large and airy, we had a hibiscus room overlooking the butterfly pool which was very peaceful.
Sunbeds did get taken really early in the main areas, always spaces at the butterfly pool but it got very hot up there. We chose to stay on the beach and bought the air beds off one of the beach seĺlers who got it ready for me everyday. They are tricky to put up and she was happy to do this for me everyday. Lovely breeze on the beach for keep you cooler.
Hotel is on sunset beach and the sunsets were beautiful. Best part of the beach in my opinion having walked the full length all the way upto to La Flora. There are large rocks but that makes it more beautiful.
Breakfast was good with lots of choice and staff are wonderful.
Cocktails at happy hour were poor quality and very weak. At times it was debatable if they were alcoholic.
Food at the restaurant was good quality but we ate out most of the time.
Adaman Beach bar and restaurant a stroll away but this got very busy. Great food and very cheap so let's guess why.
We went to White Sands beach which was lovely and also went for a 2 night stay in the jungle close to Khao Sok national park. This was amazing, did the Cheow wan lake and cave hike.
I would recommend The Moracea to anyone. Nicest hotel I saw along the beach on our daily walks.
