Beautiful open air resort with Asian décor. The resort had pretty grounds and walkways. Their Infinity pool was very cool. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room was airy and spacious with a fabulous large bathroom with a roomy shower stall. The hotel featured an extensive buffet with high end options. The Favola restaurant had excellent service, tasty bread, pizza and pasta. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and were very gracious.

This was the last resort that we stayed in Thailand. The grounds were very beautiful, and there was a beautiful pool where we could relax for an afternoon. The breakfast was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and pleasant.

We recently stayed at the Le Meridien for three nights and can recommend this place. The resort is close to both, the airport and city center. For the latter a shuttle service is available several times per day. The breakfast menu is very broad and tasteful. The overall setting of the resort close to the kok river is very nice. Staff is very friendly and fourthcoming, especially the duty manager (Ms. Warm). She took care of a minor complaint, found a solution very fast and sent a personal message and a fruit plate to our room.

We have stayed this hotel for 2 nights. Thank you very much for warm welcome and hospitality. Hotel has very nice garden and view of Kok River. Particularly Mr. Murali (General Manager), Khun Jum and Khun Non at Front Desk all of them made our stay memorable and special. The bed is really comfortable, we had a very good sleep. Hotel is not far from the airport, few local restaurants nearby the hotel. We are really enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back!

This is a luxury hotel located outside Chiang Rai. it is well designed and equipped and large, all the facilities are good and stylish, but like so many resort hotels it is completely soulless. We stayed here for 2 nights on a round Thailand tour, the room was comfortable - one or two servicing issues, ( we had to be re located -leakin air con) but overall the staff were pleasant and helpful. the restaurant serves a very comprehensive buffet set up but the food is average, the pools are stylish and pleasant, the second night we ate in the hotel's Italian restaurant ( Italian pastiche and not at all authentic but to be fair what else would you expect). You can take the hotel shuttle in to the local town but really we did not feel we had any connection with the local culture.

Greetings goanpearl

We hope this finds you well and thank you for your recent patronage and the time taken to present us with feedback on the stay experience in this forum.

It is indeed disappointing that the team was unable to engage in a manner which reflected the cultural nuances that the property has to offer either in terms of the architecture, the landscaping or the cuisine options. The resort architecture inspired by Lana Architecture; our signature breakfast offerings based on Northern Thai Cuisine; the over 100 year old rain trees (Sukaseam and Mammia) - with the romantic Romeo-Juliet like story they have, the Lana Tungs and the Lana Lanterns that adorn the main porch and the resort pond overhang bridge; the extensive landscape with flora and the fauna at the resort - the Meekong Cat Fish that inhabit the resort pond along with the Colorful Koi's, the Thai traditional Spa Offerings at the Parvati Spa and most importantly the Thai People who work at the resort - form the soul of this property; and as mentioned earlier it is indeed unfortunate that we were unable to highlight these to you during the travels.

We apologize that the air conditioning needed a fix and you had to be relocated and happy to hear that the team was pleasant and helpful through this ordeal. We have also noted the disappointment with the Italian Restaurant and will be looking closely at the cuisine offerings to bring them close to what is expected.

We understand that this stay and the encompassing experiences failed to meet your expectations and will strive to do better on your future journeys - you have our promise.

In closing we thank you for the patronage provided and the opportunity to be of service and the feedback provided; at the same time take this time to wish you and your loved ones the best for the festive season and the New Year ahead.

Wishing you well.

With Best Regards
