We were in Hua Hin for 9 nights and stayed in Prinz Garden Villa. When we arrived the hotel manager and staff served us a welcome drink. We were offered a room with connecting door instead of the family room we booked. This was a perfect start as our 4 year old daughter now had her own kingsize bed, her own bathroom and her own TV. The hotel offers a nice pool. It is large enough and clean with a separate pool for the kids. We enjoyed breakfast every day. Enough choice of Western and Thai dishes. Nice! It is also a good choice to use the restaurant for dinner, especially when you don't want to go out. The hotel is situated outside Hua Hin centre, but there is a local transport bus (green) which can take you downtown for 10 THB or a private tuktuk for 100 THB/ The beach nearby (5 to 15 minutes walk depending on traffic when you cross the mainroad) was very quiet but we did not mind at all. The bed was rather hard but this is quite common Thailand. The bathroom was clean, Rooms were cleaned every day and we received clean towels every day!

I would recommend this hotel to every one!

We wanted a clean, family-friendly hotel with a pool in Hua Hin where we could explore both the beach and the markets. Prinz Garden Villa fit the bill and the helpful staff (who spoke good English) were a plus. Warning: Thailand is HOT and you can easily melt on the walk to the beach (which is across a very busy road and down a dusty alley), but then the wide, white sand beach is worth it. Bring money with you, though, because you'll be dying for a cold drink once you get there. This hotel is in-between the major night markets and it's an easy ride to either, or both, in an evening. Cicada Market is TOTALLY worth it for dinner on a weekend--completely yummy and affordable with something for everyone. But back to the hotel. The family rooms are huge and have comfy beds. Our only complaint was the strange, built in concrete sofa (with cushion) that was not so comfortable for watching a movie. Enjoyed the pool! Recommend!

Room Tip: The family rooms are a great choice when you want everyone to have a REAL bed (not a sofa bed like some hotels)

Agree with previous reviews. We booked at last moment during Chinese new year, when other properties were very expensive. Given the rates and overall experience, it was good value for money. Staff is very friendly and helpful, though few speak English apart from the Manager. Everyone is most eager to help.
The room is large and comfortable with a big balcony. Nice comfortable bed. The hotel has an old look and feel to it. Is in a quite lane but nothing scary at all. Lots of greenery with lovely flowers and fruit trees around. Unfortunately, mosquitoes also abound, so lotions, sprays needed. Wifi was almost non-existent at our third floor and we had to come down to the reception for proper use. The hotel does not have a lift so if there is a problem with climbing stairs, opt for a room on the ground floor. It was not an issue for us for the 2-3 times during the day. Water through the geyser is not too hot and comes in bursts of lukewarm temperature. Breakfast was ok. Beach is across the road. We had hired a motorbike from the hotel so beach and everything else was very accessible. Overall a relaxing, pleasant stay at good value during peak tourist period.

Booked on a whim based on other reviews. It's clean, great pool, and good food. The staff is friendly! The beach is great, only 5 minute walk ( although you do need to cross a busy street. It's quiet. Great price. There can be mosquitoes after dark (wasn't a problem for me, kept my door shut). Massage on the beach was great, mostly retired European couples on the beach so it's very laid back. No pushy sales and plenty of room on the beach. Why pay so much extra for "on the beach" when it's so close from here. All the positive reviews are true.

Can´t really find anything negative about this nice little oasis. Room (big!) pool, garden, staff, kitchen, cleaning.
Ten minute walk to the beach. And the price you pay here is so much less then on the other side of the road (seaside) 3 minutes walk to Hua Hin busstation with direct busses to Bangkok Airport
