Vijitt Resort...a complete 5 star resort located in rawai, A perfect destination for couple....an awesome resort in a complete nature lap... A private beach..a private swimming pool...enjoying wholesome breakfast at your room... sipping exotic wines laid back in swimming pool... a butler awaiting your order to deliver in your villa..What else could you expect in a vacation. I had choosen beach villa but to my fortune ... these guys upgrade me to Private pool villa...That was awesome...Evening you can do other activities like fishing, cycling etc... So for me it was worth visiting phuket... Infact i had booked vijitt for three days and next two days in Hilton acardia resort , as there were no avaliblity..but i was so much addicted that i extended my stay to another two days to come back to Vijitt... A complete value for money 5 star property...Hope to go back again....

Room Tip: Beach front villa is a good option to choose

the reception knew my request when we did the check-out, and all of them are always being friendly and helpful in every way.

We forgot to reserve the shuttle bus service to Phuket town the other day, but they still spare the seat for us. Moreover, due to our departure was at 19:50, after our check-out, they let us to shower in their spa and still can use all the service including the buggy and swimming pool in the resort.

The breakfast is okay. But if u didn't buy the breakfast package, there's one cafe called Tiffany just opposite the resort providing all-you-can-eat breakfast at 179baht (2012,Sep). And there`s one local and delicious thai food called "Rawai Bistro" is at the left direction around 15mins by walk when u walk out of Vijitt.

Overall, this trip is awesome thanks to Vijitt Resort, although the weather isn't so nice, they still made this trip unforgettable

Room Tip: deluxe room with sea view is awesome! You can take a shower with an awesome sea view in front!!!

Our first time at The Vijitt Resort, we stayed in Vijitt Pool Villas right in front of the beach for a night. This particular villa is the leftmost one, looking up from the beach. We think it was the most quiet area in the resort. We felt quite at home and very impressive with the welcoming staffs - from reception, golf cart driver, waiters and maids. It really made us feel comfy and relaxed. It's nicely decorated with the open air shower, and the thing we like most were the private pools & jacuzzi. We decided to have dinner at the resort's restaurant (The Savoury) instead of dining at nearby restaurant. Not disappointed, all the ordered dishes tasted good. My recommended dish is the baked red snapper fillet with pesto crust served with boiled potatoes & spinach and balsamic sauce. The beach at night is safe and sound for taking a walk after dinner (the tight goes up late night). Fortunately, we discovered a magnificent view of Sunrise from the front of the villas. There are variety of breakfast lines and spacious table settings area (experienced some hotel couldnot manage the table availability during breakfast hours). We also enjoyed beautiful landscape of pools and morning beach while having breakfast. No regret for staying here. Oh, don't forget to look for hermit crabs by the beach at night! - We visit many different resorts each year, this was the first time we ever seen them.

Room Tip: Try some fabulous dishes at The Savoury restaurant. Recommended dish is the baked red snapper fillet with pesto crust served with boiled potatoes & spinach and balsamic sauce.

We saw a lot of nice comments online and we through this would be a great place to enjoy for our paper anniversary... indeed the view was stunning looking out from our beachfront villa, and the main swimming pool was great to enjoy, it was only 1.35m depth so it's pretty cool for me... breakfast was good, there was an air-conditioned room at the restaurant (The savoury) if you find the mosquitoes/ flies were too annoying at the outdoor areas. Location wasnt a problem to us as we rented a car. Also, they have free trip to Coral Island, lunchbox can be ordered at THB 350 net but we would not recommend this!

When it comes to the service... the reception lady, called Tukat (something like that) was excellent!!! She was very friendly, helpful since we checked-in and throughout our stay. Those who drive the golf cart were all nice too. People at The V Spa were super nice with really great hospitality. But the night shift staff needs improvement for sure - not helpful, not proactive and low efficiency!!! We were walking towards the reception and one lady was looking at her computer, no response when we got closer and only stared at us when we stood right in front of the reception desk, not bother to ask what they could help... what kind of service it was?...

Room was okay and the idea of outdoor rain shower was pretty cool but we experienced sewage smell every time in the middle of the shower... never a good shower!!!

What annoyed us the most was... We know the resort is surrounded by trees, etc and mosquitos/ flies and whatever insects were expected but i think the resort could do something about it. In the villa, our bed was always covered with around 10 black spots which i could tell they were dead insects < so we had to ask for linen changing every day which we normally won't do. Public area was fine overall but problem is... right in front of our villa entrance... there were a bunch of flies/ mosquitos (whatever they are) staying right in front of our entrance. a small group was there everyday throughout our stay and what drove us crazy was we saw a damn big group of mosquitos looping right at the entrance on the last day and we couldn't get it for packing at all. We called the staff and they claimed that they would spray so we hardly get it... however, when it was time to go, they were still there. It just like one of those movie scenes... terrible!!! So never go for villa #7, we passed some other beachfront villas and we didnt see the same... so bad luck :(

and we never had a good sleep throughout our stay, very noisy when it rained, and one night the electricity went on and off, probably because of the heavy rain but that's really annoying.

To conclude, not worth the money at all... with this rate, we could stay at somewhere else with better experience. We will NOT go back for sure!!! not trying to push people away but this is exactly what we have experienced!!!

Room Tip: We were staying at beachfront villa and bad luck they didnt offer us villa #5 which is right next to the main pool. It's okay but guys, please avoid #7, great viewing facing the sea but bunch of mosquitos right in front of the villa entrance :(

We stayed I the deluxe pool villa for 4 nights in aug. It is a quiet resort but is a bit far away from the popular tourist area, such as phuket town or patong.

The hotel provide free transportation twice every day to Patong and phuket town. But you have to return by 3 pm if you want to catch the return shuttle back to hotel,

The room itself is very spacious, but not luxirious. The pool is surrounded by bushes, you can see pools of the villa near you clearly.

The restaurant is average. The breakfast did not have too many choices. The food quality is OK. We tried the romantic dinner one night to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were a bit dissapointed. The quality cannot meet standard of a five star hotel, and they changed the food without informing us beforehand, till the food was served, we were told what we ordered have been sols out....

The daily tour to coral island is good .. The tour guide is very helpful in every detail. We did have a good time there.

In conclusion, if you would like to run away fm the hassle of busiest tourist area. Looking for a resort with private pool at a decent price, vijitt would be a good choice. But don't expect it to be a luxirious 5 star chained hotel...
