The place to stay in Rayong

Was in Rayong for 2 nights and quite impressed with the hotel. Spacious well lit lobby with a comfortable lounge area to relax in, amazing rooftop bar and restaurant, Elementi with great food & drinks.

Room tip: Deluxe Ocean view rooms.

Best Hotel in Rayong with amazing restaurant at rooftop and Great Views from Swimming Pool

i stayed at this hotel for 14 nights and highly recommend this place. The hotel has a great location and is connected to a big shopping mall with many eating, shopping, movies, kids play options and big department/grocery store. The staff at this hotel goes out of their way to make sure you feel at home. The hotel has the best restaurant at the rooftop with beautiful sea views and is open till late night. After work I loved the fresh air and the beer at this rooftop restaurant which has both open air and inside seating options. Food and breakfast was great. Housekeeping staff was always seen smiling and ensured my room was always spotless and fresh. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend as the best place to stay in this city.

Room tip: sea view rooms are best

Afternoon tea fail

Called this hotel to book afternoon tea for my friends birthday. They confirmed the booking and even called back to check on dietary requirements. On arrival the staff seemed to not have a clue who we were and had no knowledge of the booking. We were placed in holding on the sofas whilst they pretended to find our booking. When questioned, about 5 minutes later, the staff said they were calling the 57 floor restaurant to check if they had a booking for us and then the staff left and never came back. We were left with some water in the hope we would just go away. We asked for the manager, only to be told they weren’t doing afternoon tea that day as they didn’t have enough customers. We were offered a free coffee and we could choose a cake but were not allowed to pick alcohol. We were treated like it was our fault they had completely ruined the booking. There was no real apology or remorse for ruining someone’s birthday treat. We called the Marriott, and luckily, here is a hotel who know how to treat the customers. Holiday inn -5 Marriott +10.

High rise hotel close to the City Center and next to a big Shopping Mall.

Fantastic, rather newly built hotel with professional staff.
The rooms and suits are lovely, equipped with everything you might need.
Managers, chefs, restaurant staff, reception, housekeeping; all very efficient and pleasant people who know how to run a hotel.
Unfortunately the Club Lounge is still not very much used. It is located on a high level, overlooking the city and is served by well trained staff.

Room tip: High level to avoid noise.

Convenient and Nice

Location: on Sukhumvit Rd. and next to Passione Shopping Center, so you won't get lost. However, the parking building was difficult to drive due to steep ramp.
Room: nice and clean but the bathroom doors are difficult to close and lock. Wet and dry areas are comfortably separated, but the closet and safe box should be relocated somewhere else in the room. The amenities were promptly available.
Breakfast: so many selections to choose and it's difficult (ha ha). The food was well-prepared/served/never ran out. The wait staff were friendly.
The elevator: the air vent should be maintained and cleaned. The black dust could be visibly seen.
