Further to my recent Review, my wife and myself duly played a round of golf yesterday morning at the Blue Canyon's second course the Lakes.

Fortunately for us, and not most of the other thousands of tourists/visitors on the Island - it was an overcast and wet (light not heavy rain) morning - ideal conditions for golf. There were also not too many other golfers on the Lakes Course (which if anything was in better condition than the more famous Canyon course) and - besides losing and finding a few golf balls (newcomers are advised to take a good supply of golf balls on either of these attractive but testing course), we had a most enjoyable and quick (little over 3 hours) round.

As with our previous round at the Canyon, our caddies were not only helpful but good company.

For any golfers, well worth visiting should the opportunity arise.

We recently played 18 holes. Loved the course and our game at this golf club. Every hole offers a different challenge and the course itself is very scenic with an old world charm about it. It is definitely worth a repeat visit!

I have been on a golfing holiday to Phuket and this course was a massive disappointment. It's horrendously expensive, the staff are all miserable and don't care about anything but getting as much money from you, the starter was rude, the Canyon course is very average condition, the caddies a massive disappointment and the service / food in the bar after terrible... there are so many better places to go and play golf in Phuket.

Blue Canyon is divided into 2 18 hole golf courses. The Canyon and Lakes course. The Canyon overall being the more challenging to play.
Caddies knowledge is reasonable with ok English.

The fairways are in good condition and are good fun to play. It's a challenging layout on both .

The club house is large and open looking out toward The Canyon course. It's very close to Phuket airport so you have a great view of aircraft landing and taking off ( depending on the winds) .
The more formal restaurant being upstairs of the club house ( was closed when we were there) and the more relaxed downstairs. The food was tasty and fresh and both Thai and Western selection available. Burgers curry ,noodles , spring rolls etc .
The change rooms had showers , toilets etc and you can have a 20 min neck/ head massage if you wish.

There are plenty of seats if your waiting for partners or friends on the course to sit comfortably with magazines and newspapers and television supplied.

All in all a good course , good food and drink another day of fun in Phuket.

Brilliant course not to be taken lightly had a great day walking the course. Some great challenging holes and others that tempt that shot...grrr.
Course was in a very good condition though the downpour half way through made the putting challenging.
Thank you
