My husband and I really enjoyed this museum. It is quite small, but as long as you show up with realistic expectations, you will thoroughly enjoy your visit.
First of all, the price is right -- free or a donation.
Second: We only had 90 minutes to spend there and it was not enough time, so don't let the size fool you either.
Third: There is a lot of information here, but it was difficult to take it all in. Some of the descriptions at the displays were lengthy. There were oral histories to listen to at a computer station. There is a video to watch. But mostly you just READ.
I liked that we were able to touch some of the displays and that it wasn't all behind glass. I especially got a kick out of looking at numerous stereotype pictures. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon. I wish we'd arrived sooner so we didn't feel so rushed.
