Great location! Right next door to Uncle Sam's boat tours. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance of this location. Rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the town. Would highly recommend!
Our 6th time staying here….and we love it more with each visit! Being able to relax on the room deck with the incredible St. Lawrence River right in front of you, watching the huge freighters pass by….heaven on earth! :) Looking forward to our next trip up next year!
We were very impressed with the spacious room. Beautifully decorated. Extremely clean, so clean it looks like everything was new. The refrigerator had a separate freezer, not like other hotels with one refrigerator in a little freezer in the same section. The towels were like new. Absolutely amazingly beautiful views of Boldt Castle. It was wonderful watching the ships go through the channel. Also, check in time is it 4 o’clock we received a call about 1 that our room was ready. I thought that was very courteous to give us a call and let us know that. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioner worked as an air conditioner should going off when it reached the temperature you set it at, was not loud at all.
I could go on and on how much we enjoyed our stay.
We didn’t mind, but there is no elevator at this hotel. It is 2 short flights to get to the second floor.
This was a one night stay in order to do a tour boat cruise … Uncle Sam is right next door so ultra convenient - clean and comfy and safe and quiet - great watching the water off the back balconies - helpful, friendly front desk staff … only issue was tv was staticky but we didn’t really watch say just something that needs fixing
We stayed here for 2N in Main Channel room #231, which has a mid-view, second floor, premium-priced option. I was surprised how large the room was with a huge balcony of the river and Boldt Castle. I saw all the watercrafts go back and forth.
The parking is free but there is no breakfast. There are several breakfast options within walking. Just outside the property begins the quaint town of shops, museums, and restos.
Two queen beds were pushed together. The A/C is good. Blackout curtains, and free coffee at the reception room were appreciated.
This property is busy -- probably lots of regulars. The location couldn't be better. There are fishing spots along the sides. Fish were easy to catch with cut-up worms. The grandchildren enjoyed that.
