Djerba is beautiful and very relaxing. The people from Djerba are very welcoming and friendly. What better way to celebrate a holiday then in an equally welcoming relaxing Vacation Resort.
Robinson Djerba Bahiya is wonderful and my thanks go out to the entire team.

Special mention to the nautic team. Great brand new Topcat Boats and a professional crew. And all of a sudden I had a companion in the water. A dolphin was paying a visit jumping out of the water right next to my boat. Nice.

Our recent trip to Robinson Club Djerba Bahiya was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had In a long time. The whole resort is very impressive. As you pull up to the hotel's main entrance, settled among tall palm trees, fountains and fine manicured landscape, you are greeted with drink, an impressive lobby and very friendly staff. The main language is German, but most speak English as well. French is the official language of Tunis and Arabic is the common tongue. No doubt you will find at least one language to communicate in.

The bellhop leads you to your room along tiled and laid stone pathways, through a maze of recently renovated building surrounded by well kept local vegetation. Once we arrived at our room we noted several things, first was that the room was very clean, next it was air conditioned and finally there was large bathroom with double sinks. It is important to note that the bed was very comfortable. As we moved deeper into the ocean front room we caught our first glimpse of the ocean, stunning! The waters were a clear light green, which faded to blue and the temperature was a perfect 24 degrees C.

As an all inclusive hotel, there was more than enough to eat. All the meals were great! From fresh grilled meats and fish to hot entrees on the serving line, there was enough of a selection that even the most picky person can find something great to eat. I was mostly impressed with the local fruits, meats and fish. They were all fresh and delicious.

After filling up on good eats there was always something to do. We could chose from the fitness center, the spa, tennis courts, archery, beach volleyball, water sports, just to mention a few. There were a few things we had to pay for like the messages and tennis balls, but the prices were very reasonable. If all else failed there was the crystal clear pool which was always cool and inviting. If you have little children the Robi club has a full time children program to keep the little ones entertained while you relax. The staff members are great with the children and every child I saw was fully engaged and having a great time.

Every evening there is a planned event which usually involved music (Live or DJ'd), dancing or a show at one of the many bars spread through the hotel. One of the most memorable was the beach party and the Casino night. There is so much to do that there is really no need to leave the hotel the whole time you are there. If you do want to go into town there are some great places to get local spices and pottery at very good prices, but be willing to haggle, A LOT! You can also take a tour to the Desert or visit the onsite location where the First Star Wars was filmed.

Tips for a good trip: Taxi is about 10 Euro from the airport or 22 Dinar. Bring lots of sun screen. It is expensive from the Hotel store. Take advantage of all the hotel has to offer, the staff members are great people and they will get you animated!

Room Tip: Request a room with Ocean View
