but if you 're looking for a cheap place to crash while visiting expensive kaleici , that may work out for you .
if you are looking for charm and romance , you are not going to find it here , in fact the place has zero sex appeal and i must say , i was quite disappointed when i was first shown into my room as it was so bare , basically just a bed , a big armoire , a plug in the middle of the wall and a mini table. i felt quite cramped and my stuff was all over the floor. same deal in the bathroom , everything had to sit on top of the toilet or by the sink and there were no hooks to hang your towels to dry - i had to hang them over the edge of the door .... on the other hand , the place was clean and the maid would offer to do your room daily if you wished. their was A.C. in the room but since i was there in october , i never had to turn it on ....
but the redeeming thing about this place is that you got to use the lovely pool at their sister hotel a few doors down as well as enjoy their breakfast buffet served in the garden so all in all , given the fact that i paid less than $ 20 / night , it wasn ' t too bad of a deal and i never bothered looking for something a bit more cheerful.
the staff wasn ' t that friendly at first but i think it was mostly due to their lack of english , except for Sadat , the young guy who worked at reception who was always willing to help and very pleasant .
so again , what started as a bit of a disappointment at first turned out to be a pretty good deal after all and it may work for you if you ' re not too fussy !

Well located in the ancient city of Antalya. Close by walk from bars and nice points of view in front of the sea.
The room is a bit tiny but efficient: the shower is (like often in Turkey) directly on the floor next to the toilets.
Air conditioner works fine, lack of plugs.
Helpful staff.
Great Breakfast (all you can eat) and access to swimming pool for free at 50m from the hostel.
The hotel is and old ottoman house.
Perfect for 1 or 2 nights.

The room was quite small, but we weren't looking for a big size place. We went to Antalya just to spent the night.. and we regret that.. it's an amazing place! and we didn't know that.
The hostel is in the middle of the old town, 5 minutes walking far from the bars and restaurants.

The service was great. They took care of our car perfectly.

What can I say, apart from the hotel it was the people that truly surprised me. Sedat, Ayhan, Naseemi, and many others, were among the best of people youll ever meet, helpful, humble and just so down to earth.

The room in general was far better than expected, clean with all the provisions youll need for your stay.

If you're in the mood for a private tour, Sedats your man. he gave us an amazing discount on all the tours and arranged everything according to our requests and demands.

All in all, Im glad that we decided to spend our 7 day stay at the Abad Hotel - truly an amazing experience!

Room Tip: If you're in Antalya, this is the place to be - decent rooms, good location, amazing people, wha...
