Typical Beachhotel in Kemer, with a very friendly Service Staff there. As our Friends have been there already last Year, we followed their Advice and went also there. Friendly Check In and they also speak good english there.
The very good thing there was the Breakfast Choices and especially the good Coffee. Friendly Staff there too. Also we have to say, that there was a nice and friendly Atmosphere and we could relax good.

My friend Vika and I booked Fame Hotel, Kemer, through www.reservationseurope.com. BIG mistake. The infromation on the website doesn't correcpond with the services provided by the hotel. The website advertises facilities of the 4 star hotel (FAME RESIDENCE) with the 3 star FAME HOTEL prices and places you in the latter.

The hotel can accommadate 200 guests but has 100 sunbeds so you are not guarenteed a place on the beach!

NO hairdryers, NO minibar, NOT on the beach, UN friendly and UN helpful reception staff, NO internet

if you're looking for a cheap but decent hotel you should choose Fame Hotel (if you want more luxury and better facilities you should choose Fame Residence Park 4* or Fame Residence 5*).
I was completely satisfied with Fame Hotel, firstly it's in a very good location, near the sea and the city centre. you can reach the Liman street (the main street for shopping) in a couple of minutes, the sea is just across a small park and a street.
I went with all inclusive and we were eating in Fame Residence Park 4*, we also were able to use it's all facilities (bar, pool, events).

Food. The variety of food was really huge. especially during lunch & dinner. there were about 5-7 different hot dishes, including fish everyday (some hotels offer fish only sometimes), of course they suggest a huge variety of salads and desserts. they also give snacks between lunch and dinner, and on Saturdays they also give ice cream for free.

Drinks. I love Turkish beer Efes and rakı (anise vodka) so it was a paradise for me on this case :) they also have simple vodka, gin & wine (no brandy or rum). I really enjoyed that near soft drinks machines they had "Ayran" (Turkish drink from yoghurt), there were lots of sweet soft drinks machines, and even a Greek drink from syrup and smashed ice (I don't remember the name). They had simple tea and strong Turkish tea, and the coffee was from Nescafe machine.

Events/animation. That is what I've missed the most, the hotel would be nearly perfect except for a lack of events and animation. There were only a concert & a disco on Sunday, other days - nothing. No animation too, but every evening they were collecting people and took them for free to the one of the biggest Kemer clubs Aura, although we prefered exploring other clubs. and I really missed the music, they played it only sometimes and really silently...the hotel is very quiet & I personally didn't like it. the main tourists were Russians (but they also were silent ones :))), also Turkish, Germans, a couple of Brits and we were 7 Lithuanians.

Rooms. well they were really simple, but had basic needs and a tv :) the balconies were cosy and big enough to spend a lovely time watching the mountains. Rooms were cleaned everyday, although room service didn't tidy it very carefully but it wasn't a bid deal for us.

Staff. as usual very helpful, cheerful and friendly. maybe more shy than in other Turkey hotels, but always ready to help you with a smile. especially they enjoyed when we were speaking in Turkish with them (some of them, especially security guys were not good at english, german or russian).

so in general it was probably my best holidays ever!! I would definitely recommend you this hotel. it can fit nearly for everyone: young people, old couples, families with children and etc. I'm seriously thinking about staying in Fame Hotel during my next visit!

p.s. if you're interested in touristic excursions I can recommend you Oflaz tour, we were using that agency and can ensure it's very trustable & can help to make your holidays even more memorable.
