We stayed at the Febeach Hotel from 12/9/14 to 26/9/14. We were told by several staff that we were the only English guests which was of no concern or worry for us. It was an absolutely lovely holiday.
The room was good quality and very comfortable. Cleaned every day and fresh towels left daily. A nice touch was the complimentary litre bottle of water which was provided every day. There was a small fridge in the room and there is no charge to use the safe.
The food in the hotel was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. There was always a comprehensive choice of dishes and the desserts were to die for !!!
The pool area was very clean and well laid out, no shortage of sun beds although we used the private area on the beach every day. The hotel provided complimentary beach/pool towels which you could exchange for clean ones daily if you wanted to. It was a short walk to the beach and the beach bar or you could use the buggy transport provided.
The beach bar was superb and the lunches provided at the beach bar/restaurant were great.. most of it prepared in the open kitchen attached.
All the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. I would confidently recommend this hotel and we would not hesitate in visiting again.

Steve and Karen.

Room tip: choose a room with a sea/pool view. They are a little more expensive but worth it.

I stayed one week in Febeach hotel with my family. It's a lovely hotel with friendly staff. The swimming pool is beautiful, there's a hamam, free Wi-Fi (!) and lays on a good location with many shops and restaurants near the hotel. There's great animation for young and old during the day. Excellent restaurants with a varied selection of food and it's possible to snack all day long. If you want to go to the beach you can walk 200 m or you can go with a shuttle car. The beach is beautiful, the sunbeds are free and it contains a beach bar. The rooms in the hotel are clean and every day you'll get fresh bed linen and towels. You have to communicate with the staff in German because they don't speak that great English, what is the only disadvantage of this hotel I think. I've had a lovely week in this hotel!

You better take a German phrasebook for this hotel if you dont speak Turkish. Language wasnt an issue for me, but poor behaviour of elderly Germans was! I went out of season so bare this in mind. many elderly Germans choose long stay packages of up to 3 months out of season at this year round hotel, to avoid the German winter. It can feel extremely uncomfortable at times. Just look at the reviews below to see what I mean (majority are in German) food was quite good and variety wasnt great although for the price it was not bad at all. wine and beer was served with meals and replenished frequently. the quality again was ok but sometimes the beer was very watered down. rooms were small but functional and you get a balcony along with TV. It feels like a UK travellodge standard throughout. so very mediocre. same applies to the indoor facilities which are quite good with sauna and pool. but both are quite small. there is also a large outdoor swimming pool but not many beds for the hotel size. some of the staff were very good but some were very rude. Overall impression was mediocre as you are a long way (about 45 minutes walk) from Side itself and the ruins are about an hours walk away. If a hotel is called a resort and spa I expect it to be on the beach looking at the photos supplied at booking. The beach is about 10 minutes walk away! you pass 2 other hotels to get to the beach. It also felt like being in a German nursing home with the residents out of season so be prepared if visiting outside of may and october (the main tourist season).

Our family of 4 stayed at this hotel in February. Hotels in Turkey almost always cater to people of different nationalities, so this one is mostly filled with older German tourists. The staff speaks mostly German, and only a little English. We speak both, but English-only speakers may find themselves a little bit out of the loop.

It is a package hotel, about a half-kilometer from the beach. There is another hotel directly next to it that in high season might be annoyingly close. The food was surprisingly good and varied, and contained an entire section of Turkish specialities that you could taste. We had never been to a package hotel with Animation (organized activities) before, but the staff did a good job of keeping people entertained. Our children were slow to warm up to the Mini-Club, but once they did, they had a good time, especially at the Mini-Disco. The clientele is mostly retired Germans, and the lounge catered to that age group, in terms of dancing and musical tastes. We didn't hang out in the lounge much!

We had a family room, which allowed the children to sleep in one section (no door) and for us to hang out in another section without it being so bright that it woke them up. Our room was always well-cleaned and the maid was creative with how she made our beds, which was charming.

The beach directly in front of the hotel is very narrow, but if you walk a little bit away, there is more space. This might be an issue for summer visitors. The indoor pool is TINY. We did not use the outdoor pools, as it SNOWED when we were there! Side itself is a great base for exploring this part of Turkey. We did not take any of their tours, as we are normally independent travelers and we wanted flexibility with our children. We found the Turkish people to be amazingly friendly, especially when we spoke in German, and they doted on our children.
