We loved this hotel, the position on the beach and the pools were lovely and an easy bus ride into the local town.
I would consider going again but we would not visit full season as the hotel is quite large, We booked a family room which was a very good size.
Our only issue was that for the first week in October the hotels facilities were very limited and the bars in the lounge and the pub were closed, the shop had little stock.
Drinks are plentiful but limited to Gin, Vodka, Wine, Beer.
A few niggles that didn't spoil our stay but ought to be addressed.
Pillows were very hard and lumpy, towels poor, for both room/pool didn't look clean most of the time
Maid didn't stock up coffee/tea, when mentioned was addressed.
Good provision of toiletries in room.
Room was clean and beds changed regularly, the covers were not adequate enough though boys complained too small. shower did have a few mould spots but no windows so understandable as fan couldn't cope, Bin was rusty so should have been changed.
Restaurant food generally good considering catering for different nationalities, only provided frankfurters for breakfast and never offered beans? if you arrived at 08.30 for dinner they didn't always replace salad stuff etc so choice became limited, amazing omelette lady in the mornings! offered grilled fresh fish on a few evenings which was good.

Waiters didn't clear tables as fast as they could considering it was quiet, they looked after some people more than others and begrudged fetching drinks to go with your meal. The 24 hour café was good for soup, bread, cheese, ham etc: The al a carte was awful, food wasn't nice. was stone cold and I was ill the next morning, Wish we hadn't bothered.
We didn't watch entertainment as not interested and don't generally don't like to be around younger children but people said it was okay.
On the Friday 700 people arrived for a conference for the weekend, this made it busy but they didn't open any more bars, however the food suddenly improved - became more plentiful and had more choice.
We didn't like/enjoy this influx, I understand that the hotel needs to make money but they didn't cater well enough. there was also a fight where staff and conference members ran through the hotel left the bar etc: and the police were called.
Two ladies played the piano and violin every night in the lounge which was okay but not every night became monotonous a change would have been good, it was a little cold to sit outside and get away as Oct.
We went into town which was nice, shop keepers hassled a little but if you say NO and don't chat they leave you alone.
We caught a taxi to Ephesus which was brilliant, fascinating place - taxi was 23 euro each way and entrance was 40, not very suitable for those who have difficulty walking.
Although I had niggles which seem to be a few we had a lovely holiday - we preferred to sit by the smaller pools - they closed them at 18.00 which was early for us, the beach was lovely and clean a blue flag - good swimming. Imagine it would be packed in the summer though.
If you want a quieter break go out of season I wouldn't consider this holiday in the summer as it would be very busy and there would be too many children, the kids pool play area is good, my kids when younger would have enjoyed it - the gym stuff is a waste of space.
I felt the holiday was good value for money.
Izmir airport is very poor for food and duty free was expensive, Dalaman is a better airport.More
