My stay at the Museum hotel was one of a kind. The ambience and feel of the hotel when you first enter blows you away, just like a dreamy fairytale. The employers of the hotel made me feel right at home and went out of their way to please my every need. Rooms are just stunning, every night i've had an amazing nights sleep. I need those pillows at home! Definitely recommend this hotel, one of my favourites out of my many trips.

Exquisite hotel nestled in the Uchisar hill that embraces the iconic Cappadocia. The hotel resides in caves that also function as a small museum. One of the best boutique hotels ever experienced. Deserves a full five-star from the reception to the housekeeping. All the rooms that are literally ancient caves are individualised and each of these reflects a specific theme. Whatever served and offered such as complimentary bottle of wine and wine fountain offered in the room (an actual vintage faucet dripping red and white wine), heated outdoor pool, outdoor fire place, amazing views of the ancient valley and the service deserves highest appreciation. Lila restaurant in the hotel with its fine dining ambiance is a must try. The boutique and compact nature of the hotel together with the intense attention of the staff feels extremely homey.

The hotelier’s note in the room of his accessibility with his private mobile phone number for any concern was a well-respected manner.

Very minor downsides that will not bother you at all in this fairy-tale mansion is a bit ineffective internet and fancier tv sets with usb ports would be good to watch movies. Although quality of Lila restaurant is excellent, a wider menu would be better if you are staying more than 3 days.

The staff sees off guests with a Turkish tradition by pouring water expecting to see them back soon and we will surely be back for our next getaway!

Room Tip: suites with wine faucet

Museum hotel is a high-end boutique hotel in the Capadoccia region. The lay out of the hotel, its small but beautiful pool along with art and historic pieces scattered all along the hotel provides an out of the world experience. It is on the pricey side but the junior suit I had booked for the long weekend was worth it. The suit was a large cave room (specific to the region). The room was very well equipped with a small private garden and a fantastic large bathroom equipped with a hot tub with a great view over the valley. The offerings of the room (including a nespresso machine) and twice daily maid service was great. The staff is very friendly but however, the waiting staff at the restaurant were not as efficient and professional as one would expect from a hotel that is a "Relais & Chateaux" member. The breakfast spread was beautiful with plenty of choices. One disappointment was the restaurant for dinner. Although good, the quality of the choices and the taste did not meat my expectations, which are pretty high --I'll admit, when staying at a hotel of this quality. Overall though a great experience and I will not only recommend Museum Hotel but would be looking forward to experience it again. Final word is the owner of the hotel who is always around and is a pleasant gentleman with an idealist vision, kudos to him.

Room Tip: Rooms have different layouts & are scattered around the property. Some rooms may be less private than others depending where the room is

Museum, art centre, perfect restaurant, stunning view, amazing house wine, good hospitality, small but nice pool, spacious rooms! We loved our one night stay in this one and only Releis & Chataux hotel in Uchisar, Turkey.
The only thing disturbed me is the staff in the restaurant. They could be more polite and professional.

Room Tip: Our room was 'tembel avci' and we loved it.
